Fint plass, men dårlig service til middagen

Beliggenheten og fine rom. God mat..

Cons:

Service til middagen. På grunn av mye folk før konsert, gikk det lang tid fra vi satt oss ned. Vi måtte hente servitør etter 25 min venting og middagen kom på bordet 40 min. Selv om.middagen var forhåndsbestilt til kl 17.30 kom den kl 18.10.
Vi hadde booket for 2 personer, men rommet var bare gjort klart for 1 person. Ble ordnet opp etter kort tid

Badstuen var et fint tilskudd men var litt dyrt og renholdet kunne vært litt bedre.

Frokosten var bra. Litt kaldt i restauranten både til middag og frokost.

Pros:

We stayed at Hotel Biologen Herdla for 7 nights. The hotel has some absolute highlights, but also a few areas that could be improved for guests booking a longer stay.
The Positives:
• Beautiful surroundings: The location is stunning, incredibly peaceful, and quiet.
• Excellent staff: The team at both reception and the restaurant was very friendly and helpful.
• Great breakfast: The breakfast buffet was extensive and offered a lot of variety.

Cons:

Points for Improvement:
• Limited dining menu: The restaurant menu is very limited. It is excellent for a 3-day stay, but too repetitive for a full week.
• Housekeeping issues: Our room was only cleaned once during our 7-night stay. We had to ask reception for clean towels ourselves.
• Room storage: There are no wardrobes or closets in the room, meaning we had to live out of our suitcases.
• High beds: The bed is quite high, which might be difficult for elderly guests. Luckily, we brought a small step stool with us.
Overall, it is a lovely hotel with great service, but better suited for short getaways rather than week-long holidays.

Pros:

The rooms in the new building with waterfront views are really nice and have a great outlook. That said, they don’t have a wardrobe, and the bathrooms don’t have hooks or shelves for toiletries and other personal items.

Cons:

Housekeeping was a bit disappointing. The rooms weren’t cleaned and the beds weren’t made unless we specifically asked, and even then the service was a bit hit or miss and not always very thorough.

The staff also seemed a bit overwhelmed at times. For instance, we could order an espresso macchiato one morning, but for no clear reason that wasn’t possible on the following days.

Breakfast was inconsistent too. Fresh fruit was available one morning but not the next, which added to the feeling that things weren’t very consistent overall.

Since we stayed for three nights, the limited dinner menu became a bit of an issue. It was quite small and didn’t really change during our stay. Given how remote the hotel is, there aren’t really any nearby dining options unless you’re willing to drive to Bergen. A wider menu or more variety from day to day would definitely be appreciated for guests staying a few days.

Un ottimo soggiorno relax
Pros:

Se cerchi una vacanza per staccare dal caos, questo è il posto giusto.
Ci arrivi comodamente dalla stazione bus di Bergen in poco più di un ora di viaggio, con un cambio di bus semplice.
Ottima colazione e molto varia, dal dolce al salato.
La stanza con vista mare piccola ma ha tutto l’essenziale. Forse un po alto il costo ma la colazione è compresa. Ottimo il ristorante per la cena, magari con qualche piatto in più si avrebbe più scelta, meno piatti italiani sarebbe stato ancor meglio

Meget tilfredstillende og rolig sted for et kort ferieopphold.
Pros:

God og variert frokost, både "cowboy"- mat og kaldmat, med fisk og kjøtt/pølse. Kaffe, melk og juice, samt smoothie. Godt tilrettelagt og godt servert i et godt miljø.

Cons:

Ingen ting negativt å melde.
