Room was clean and the location excellent but the bedroom space was small. Problems with late night and early morning noise. Staff were very friendly and helpful with the exception of one woman. Breakfast was excellent but I’d skip the dinner here.

Beautiful location, incredible food

- The food is absolutely incredible. We had both dinner and breakfast here and I am still thinking about it a week after. I would come back for this alone.
- The room was very modern and had a super fluffy bed.
- dogs are allowed! Hurray!

Cons:

The supplement for staying with your dog is quite high (355NOK) and does not give you anything for the dog (no bowl for example). Also, the dog is not allowed in the restaurant, so this is not ideal.

Also good to know: the hotel hosts events, such as weddings, and if this happens to be during your stay you can hear the music from the party in your room quite loudly. We were unexpectedly surprised by this and had a very bad night of sleep. The hotel, however, offered us a suitable compensation when we brought this up. If you are keen on having a good night's rest, however, and don't want to take any chances, I would inquire about any events beforehand.

A very nice, stylish hotel with an amazing bed, a lovely breakfast, and a great view!
Pros:

Super cozy beds and a lovely breakfast. Stunning view from the terrace outside and a small beach for swimming. Free parking.

Ein Hotel mit toller Lage, sehr gutem Essen, Zimmer mit Verbesserungspotenzial
Pros:

Das Hotel besticht durch seine wunderschöne, wenn auch etwas abgelegene Lage – ideal für alle, die Ruhe und Natur suchen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist das ausgesprochen freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal, das den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm macht. Auch das Frühstück sowie das Essen im hauseigenen Restaurant sind hervorragend und lassen kaum Wünsche offen.

Cons:

Weniger überzeugend war das Zimmer: Durch die Dachschräge mit Fenstern nach oben hat man keine Aussicht auf die Umgebung, sondern nur in den Himmel. Zudem schränkt die Dachschräge die Nutzbarkeit des Raums stark ein, und als größerer Mensch muss man sich ständig ducken. Ablagemöglichkeiten fehlen völlig – es gibt keine Kästen oder Schränke – und die Betten sind leider zu weich. Für Gäste mit Elektroautos wäre zudem eine Ladestation wünschenswert, diese wird aktuell nicht angeboten.
