We felt at home.
Pros:

Beautiful property located in the center of town, easy access to sites. Very friendly and attentive staff, great rooms with a wonderful atmosphere. The dining experience both for breakfast and dinner was fanastic!

A hidden gem of a hotel in a great central location
Pros:

Rustic yet chic and trendy
Love the white wash and wood with plants
Well thought thru rooms- love the designs and use of space

Cons:

Open toilet with no privacy can potentially be a little embarrassing depending on who you travel with.

Great location for Stone Town
Pros:

The property is in the center of Stone Town close to shops, boats and Freddie Mercury’s home.
The staff are all lovely and eager to please. The hotel is very clean. The breakfast is very nice and they have good coffee.

Cons:

The rooms are very small with the bathroom open and just behind a wall (including toilet). I do think it is very expensive for room size. It’s European prices.

Really friendly staff and nice clean rooms.

Cons:

The open-plan layout meant there was very little privacy in the bathroom, and switching on the toilet light during the night unfortunately woke my partner.

Check-in was also delayed due to an issue with our room. We were advised to wait in the rooftop bar until it was ready, which was fine, but we weren’t notified when the room became available, so we were left waiting without any update.

Breakfast menu was limited for a vegetarian as most veggie options had sold out when we arrived.

Cons:

Schoon, maar erg overpriced en eten vond ik niet zo lekker, maar dat verschilt per persoon.Ik ging altijd bij Tembo hotel eten tegenover de zee.

Preis/Leistung passt leider gar nicht
Cons:

Man musste die Koffern eigenständig zum Hotel schleppen, da kein Fahrzeug vorfahren kann. Weiters ist der Lärm von Außen (Arbeiten an anderen Gebäuden und Fußgänger) unerträglich. An Schlaf war leider nicht zu denken. Schade, um das sonst tolle Hotel.

Perfekter Ausgangspunkt in Stonetown
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, die Lage war super zentral und die Angestellten vor Ort einfach nur top und super zuvorkommend - ich würde dort jederzeit gerne wieder übernachten :-)
