The bed was comfortable and the pillows were ok.
We arrived, pre-booked at a room that was tropically hot. It was on the south side of the building, with floor to ceiling glass - nothing wrong with that, but the curtains were fully open on a sunny, mid-afternoon August day & the AC was off!
The room was well over 35°s C & we suspect over 40! Within two minutes of being in the room, we were sweating & had to leave.
We turned on the AC, closed the curtains & went to the restaurant, where almost every dish had ALL of the allergens listed!
The girl working there greeted us with an attitude of 'couldn't care less' & when I light-heartedly pointed out how unlikely it is that goat's cheese salad would have crustaceans &/or molluscs, she acted defensively as if I'd blamed her, said she didn't know & offered to ask the kitchen.
This wouldn't have been as big an issue if we were not already overly hot from the room, maybe, but her attitude was awful.
When asked how our stay had been, we mentioned the room temperature & how it wasn't cool enough to sleep until 4am & even then, not comfortably (I, J's wife, didn't sleep a wink) he offered to prepare the room better next time.
On the surface of it, this sounds like a fair offer, but they knew we were coming this time, so, how can we trust it?
He then happily charged us €2 for the tiny bottle of water we'd had, after asking us about the complimentary water & us informing him that there had been none!
We didn't feel in the least bit welcome & have consequently cancelled our booking for October.
Έχω μείνει αρκετές φορές στο συγκεκριμένο ξενοδοχείο. Είναι άνετο καθαρό με πάρκινγκ και πολύ καλό πρωινό.
