FjordSlottet Hotell

Ikke den mest spennende frokosten, men helt ok

On our last night in Norway, to be relatively close to the Bergen airport, we stayed in the Fjordslottet. It's beautiful and elegant; the lobby and dining room have seven or eight crystal chandeliers, white tablecloths and antique furniture. Our room was spacious with a balcony and the food is excellent. But the real standout was the help we got from the hostess, Gabriela. She took a walk to show me where the two EV chargers were and explained how to get registered to pay the meter charge (very easy). At many hotels the front desk person knew nothing about EV charging and just shrugged their shoulders at my questions. She came to our room and showed me how to adjust the heat. At breakfast she gave me back an item I had left on the table at dinner. It was the best service I've ever had in a hotel.

We had an amazing time !!! Vanessa was a great help and very helpful with anything we needed . Vanessa is an asset to your hotel .

Vi hadde 2 fine døgn på hotellet. Rolig sted. Rommet var noe slitt og anbefales at det blir oppgradert. God frokost og hyggelige ansatte.

Litt smale senger,( 60- 70
Cm??) men meget gode madrasser. Litt trangt med tre på ett rom, men det gikk bra. Uheldige med været, kan farge opplevelsen.
Enkel, men god frokost. Gode vafler !
Litt skuffet over middagen som smakte lite. Hyggelig uteområder hvis været hadde vært bra. Koselige gamle stuer.

Gameldags og koslig hotell. God mat og god sevice.

Överlag var vi nöjda, men det fanns lite att önska. Det var oerhört varmt på hotellet, de skulle haft fläktar att tillgå då det var väldigt många som efterfrågade det. Sen var badrummet lite märkligt. Fanns jättemycket ”döyta” jag hade uppskattat en hylla eller likande som man kunde lagt saker på, som smink, tandborste eller liknande. En liten detalj som hade gjort mycket för komforten :) Frukosten var inte heller nåt överväldigande direkt, men helt okej. Trevlig personal och ett väldigt mysigt hotell som låg idylliskt :) Rekommenderar!

Had wifi problems first evening and morning (couldn't connect on any device), but it was solved next evening.
Rooms are okay. The price is fair.
Hotel definitely has a vintage style, although it could use a bit of renewal. Vintage doesn't mean old 😉
The staff was very nice and polite. Despite having some problems with the lamp in my room I can't complain much.
The bad thing was shower head and hose. It definitely needs a replacement. It was white old plastic with a minor leak. And the shower head wasn't working well either. Things like that shouldn't happen in any good hotel.
The breakfast was nice and tasty. But we were missing some sausages and the scrambled eggs were cold two of our three times I ate it. Also it would be nice for coffee and hot water to be marked properly.
Despite those minor things I think the hotel was fairly priced and I'll remember the experience as positive, although definitely not as one of the best.

Dejlig lokation. Hyggelig morgenmad med kaffemaskine men ikke meget stort udvalg. God størrelse minikøleskab

The bathroom smelled strongly of drains. The toilet lid was broken. The lamps by the bed were very distracting. The hotel is very noisy. The breakfast was simple; the scrambled eggs were from the day before and still cold from the refrigerator, and the very young service staff needed better training.

I've stayed at the Fjordslottet Hotell before, but then with other guests. This time I was the only person in the whole hotel, staying over night. No ghosts here, but a nice and clean room. Free parking on hotel grounds. One of few places to stay in this area. Located a bit off the beaten track, but when on business trip in the area, a good choise.

Väldigt trevligt hotell, fin miljö. Sköna sängar, god mat och frukost, trevlig personal, gratis parkering

Fint område och inget att klaga på. Väldigt tillmötesgående och vänlig personal. Svarar snabbt och trevligt på mail. Hade kanske önskat en tv på rummet.
