Galapagos Planet Hotel

It was so easy to check in as the efficient reception girl already allocated the rooms for our 14 people group. Comfortable rooms in two levels with ample hot water, comfortable beds, and facility for tea, chocolate and coffee making facility at the reception area any time.
Must commend and credit the attending staff who took care of our washing at the back yard open area as it rained heavily while we were out on our boat trip during the day.
Negative point was the breakfast in adjoining cafe as the breakfast they serve was for birds but not sufficient for humans for our two days stay.
Very thinly sliced (less than 5mm) 1x slice of small French stick slice, similar size small watermelon piece, about 10 grams of scrambled eggs with a bit of peanut butter in a plate with lukewarm water in a half-washed cup for tea making. It was a disgrace for the waitress who is working at the cafe.
Had to venture out to purchase additional breakfast as it's closer to main street.
All the good work with good facility out in the drain with the meagre breakfast.
Must improve on Breakfast.

This place was one step above a hostel, and that is being generous. The only thing missing was a group of drunk frat boys chanting at 3 a.m. The room was hot enough to hatch iguana eggs, the bed felt like it was stuffed with loose hammers, and the decor looked like it had lost a bar fight. The bathroom? A horror movie. I am fairly certain something was growing in there, possibly sentient. If there were a rating lower than zero stars, this place would own it. Fourteen thumbs down, and if a genie granted me one wish, it would be to go back in time and choose literally anywhere else to stay.

We loved this funky little hotel that was walking distance to the airport and downtown! Highlights most definitely include the gentleman at the front desk with braces(I’m so sorry I forgot your name!) who is so helpful and kind.
Having water available at all times to refill our water bottles each day was huge compared to other, more illustrious hotels we stayed at during our time in Ecuador. We loved watching sunset from the top floor as well.
If I had advice to give, it would be to improve the coffee available, which you can see through it’s so weak.
Still, would stay there again in a heartbeat and remember the nice gentleman‘s name this time!

Nice and clean. Best service than other places

I had a nice stay at the Galapagos Planet Hotel. It was booked for me through my Exoticca tour. It was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and it was a short walk to the main strip. The hotel provided shampoo, conditioner, and soap. No lotion. The shower was tricky to operate but did have hot water and good water pressure once you figured it out. The breakfast buffet was okay and had some selection.

A major issue was the musty/mildew smell in the rooms and linens. I luckily brought a travel towel that I ended up using on top of my pillow to avoid the musty smell. It’s an outdated hotel in need of renovations, so I guess that’s unavoidable, but the staff keeps it clean.

There was also a real lack of surfaces to store things. Everything is pretty close on San Cristobal, but this hotel is further from most of the places you’d want to be (restaurants, beaches). Personally, I wouldn’t stay there again. But if you need a place to store your things and sleep while enjoying all the Galapagos has to offer, it might suit your needs.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Washrooms could be improved. For some reason the shower stoped working which was very inconvenient but maintenance came to fix it.

Contactar con el hotel ha sido imposible, no responden los mensajes y no hay teléfonos a los que llamar en ninguna parte.
Por las mañanas muy temprano como todas las habitaciones dan a un patio hay mucho ruido de la gente.
El check-out es demasiado pronto respecto a otros hoteles.

El trato no ha sido el mejor. No recomendable.

Nothing, room was noisy, there's a lot of noise In the pool,and the reception was very noisy at night plying music and loud talking while guest ate sleeping.
