Disappointing and badly in need of renovation

The location was convenient and well placed for exploring Cluj-Napoca.

Cons:

Unfortunately, almost everything else was disappointing. The hotel is very dark and the room is clearly in need of renovation: worn and poorly finished walls, old dark carpet and cracked bathroom tiles. The photos online give a much better impression than the reality.
Breakfast was also poor. Much of the food was cold, including fried eggs, and when some items such as pastries were finished, they were not replaced.
Access to the room was very inconvenient, especially with luggage: there is no elevator, and you have to climb internal stairs, go outside through a balcony area and then enter the building again.
Finally, there was nobody at reception even when arriving at a normal time. Everything had to be done online through forms and self check-in. I found the complete lack of human contact particularly unpleasant and impersonal.

Cons:

Puerta de acceso al hotel totalmente deteriorada lo que genera inseguridad al no haber personal durante la tarde y noche. Sin ascensor y escalera con falta de iluminación.

First of all, it is close to town center, surprisingly affordable! The amenities were perfect, everything that we need is in the room. Spacious, with air conditioning and very clean toilet. The building from the outside may look old, but check out the rooms! It’s nice - you can rest comfortably without worrying, shops are nearby, easy access to public transport. Will definitely come back!

Cons:

We can’t think of anything, not sure if they have a lift. Used stairs most of the time! :)
