Pros:

Angkor Sand Hotel is a great place to stay in Siem Reap. It’s right in the city center, and the poolside is perfect for relaxing after visiting the temples. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

I like this hotel. It’s perfectly adequate and a great price.
Pros:

Currently staying at this hotel. I got a good deal through bookingdotcom and for what I paid, I cannot fault this hotel. The room is perfectly ok. Clean and comfy large bed clean sheets and pillows. The aircon works well and I have a street view. Good powerful hot shower, TV (not that I’ve watched it), a balcony and a huge bath! And a nice quiet pool with sun loungers. I’ve been too lazy to sample breakfast in the morning.
The room has no fridge or safe (that I can find although other rooms may have them) and the I don’t believe there are any lifts but I was fine with all of this. The hotel is 300 meters from all the shops, restaurants and bars etc so perfectly situated for me. Staff here have been really lovely and helpful. I can’t fault this hotel and will likely extend my stay. Apart from the usual ambient sounds associated with being in an urban area, I found the room quiet and have slept well (& I’m a light sleeper). I believe the hotel rent out motorbikes too.

Great hotel.
Pros:

The Angkor Sand hotel is in an ideal location quiet yet close to the bars and restaurants around Pub street and Sok San roadI. I stayed in a lovely balcony room on the top floor were I could enjoy the sunrise. Alll in all very nice hotel at a very affordable price.

Good.
Pros:

Good value for money, at an excellent location.

The room provided 402 the top floor was spacious and had good amenities such as air con, hair dryer and kettle. The balcony was breezy with excellent views and not much noise was an issue. The swimming pool was lovely with sunbeds provided.

Some constructive feedback:
Cleaning is important and perhaps the cleaner should clean at least every two days - she did not clean my room, I asked in the end. Change of towels is a must
The restaurant and bar, maybe have some music to be more inviting as the plenty of times I came there was no one there or looked closed.

Overall, it was a good stay and the location sold it for me.
