The pool was a total bonus. I didn’t realize how much I would love having it until I came back each afternoon, sunburned and covered in temple dust. It’s not a huge pool, but it’s really well-kept, and there were never crowds. I often had it to myself, just floating and cooling off.

The hotel also had a small restaurant where I had breakfast each day — nothing fancy, but good enough: eggs, toast, fruit, Khmer rice porridge, coffee. The staff even packed me something early one morning when I left at 4:30am for Angkor Wat sunrise. It’s those little touches that made the place stand out.

The pool is easily one of the nicest we've encountered in Southeast Asia—it looks exactly like the photos! The proximity to the best restaurants and bars means no long tuk-tuk rides needed after dinner.

It's a nice hotel, not 100% perfect but a good place to stay in Siem Reap.
