The staff service was the selling point. Excellent service from everyone especially receptionist Ms Dane. Good opportunity to earn Marriott points. The lunch special was reasonable.they allowed me early / late check out which was extremely helpful. The room was perfect for a business traveler.
The breakfast was not included in the price as expected. For the price I paid it was sub quality and I did not enjoy it.
The shower drain was slow and clogged when I checked in. The sink water was extremely hot any time of day.
Literally everyone I had any kind of interaction with seemed to know me and was my best friend. Such an incredible group of people. Phillip, the GM sets the tone in going the extra mile. I had a few really great conversations with him and other staff. Genuinely amazing at hospitality. The room was comfortable and logically set up for travelers. I am extremely picky and everything made sense to me in the room. The pool area is comfortable to just hang out in. There is a coworking space and a nice gym with new equipment. The views are amazing.
I didn't enjoy the location so much. It's a bit isolated, though eventually there will be a mall on the property which might improve the stay for guests in the future. Still, I enjoy exploring neighborhoods and cafes and there's just not much close by. During Khmer New Year, in the middle of my stay, it was difficult to get food delivered and rides. The other small annoyance was that the hotel starts on floor 27, then from there you take another set of elevators to the rooms. It was just a little inconvenient to enter and exit my room when leaving the property but the views wouldn't be possible otherwise. My biggest complaint is the food onsite. The coffee is great with a full menu at your disposal during breakfast. The breakfast buffet selection hardly changes; none of the food is kept hot; not many western selections; after two weeks I found that I really only could eat eggs (thank goodness they have an omelette bar), toast, dragon fruit, and a little yogurt cup. I had lunch a few times and didn't find anything but the french fries as actually good. In fact I ordered a chicken sandwich which was inedible. I ate at the rooftop restaurant twice for dinner. The first time I had salmon and it was probably the best meal I had there. The second time was not great when I ordered the risotto. My second biggest complaint was some of the guests behavior which has nothing to do with the hotel, but I witnessed behavior that I hadn't run into in any other hotel in any other country I've been to so it's notable in my book. One man in dress slacks with a belt and a polo shirt literally took all his clothes off at the pool and jumped in wearing his boxers. Another man was vaping in the middle of the restaurant during lunch which was crazy to me. Others let their children pick from the breakfast buffet alone and I watched a little boy touch a ton of food that he didn't take. Lots of entitled, rude guests.
Great pool, great skybar
I found the AC fan noisy at sleep time and not very street walker friendly
Pool and area was a good size . Nice big sun loungers that are comfortable too.
The bathroom not being separate was not good
Air con is very noisy even on low
It was a beautiful place staffed by beautiful kind people 🙏🏼
Great views across PP - delicious breakfast - the pool floor is fantastic, views amazing, a small terrace to walk on up there too
I liked the lounge areas too - made for a comfortable experience
Staff friendly and efficient
Aircon a little fierce, location felt a bit tricky for getting out to restaurants etc tho the tuktuks are v handy for this ( booked by grab and arrive v quickly, a fun way to get around )
The hotel itself is new and the room is clean and comfortable. The gym could use more equipment, but for a hotel gym, it’s okay.
Check-out was a mess. Worst experience I’ve had. Staff refused to issue the invoice despite seeing in the Booking.com app the reply from the reservations team that it will be issued upon check out. The guy kept interrupting me when I’m speaking, and I think that’s the reason for the confusion.
