We had an amazing stay at **Hotel Saly** and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Durrës.

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed. A special thank you to **Angela**, the receptionist, who provided some of the best customer service I've experienced in a very long time. She went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable and memorable. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her warm, friendly attitude made us feel right at home.

Our sea-view room was absolutely beautiful. Waking up each morning to the stunning views and the sound of the waves was a real blessing. The hotel is perfectly positioned right on the beach, so you simply step outside onto the sand where your own sun loungers and deck chairs are waiting. Even while relaxing on the beach, the staff continue to look after you, making the whole experience feel effortless and luxurious.

With only eight rooms, Hotel Saly offers a peaceful, intimate atmosphere that makes your stay feel personal rather than crowded. The rooms are modern, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean, and the beds are extremely comfortable. The air conditioning works perfectly, which is ideal during the warmer months. Housekeeping is available every day if you want it, and fresh beach towels are also provided daily.

The hotel also arranged our airport transfers, which were reliable, hassle-free, and even cheaper than other taxi companies we found.

A special mention also goes to our taxi driver, **Vali**, who was fantastic. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared so much interesting information about Durrës, its history, and Albanian culture during our journey. It really added to our holiday experience.

The people of Durrës are incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel comfortable wherever we went.

If you enjoy seafood, don't miss **Bracja Fish Restaurant**, just a short walk from the hotel.

Pros:

Hotel je moderní, zrekonstruovaný, čistý, blízko u pláže s vlastním přiřazeným slunečníkem k pokoji, velmi ochotný personál, možnost parkování u hotelu velkou výhodou. Snídaně výborná formou a la carte s dostatečným výběrem. Velmi dobrá kvalita v porovnání s cenou.

Das Personal war super nett und die Zimmer sehr sauber. Man wurde jeden Tag gefragt ob man eine Zimmerreinigung, frische Handtücher o.ä braucht.
Das Frühstück im eigenen Restaurant war super und auch am Abend konnte man dort lecker essen.
Die eigenen Liegen am Strand waren super und es ist der beste und vorallem der sauberste Strandabschnitt.

Cons:

Kleine Kaffeetütchen im Zimmer wären toll gewesen.

Spędziliśmy całą rodziną cudowny tydzień w hotelu w Saly. Hotel jest czysty, a cała obsługa niezwykle dba o komfort gości na każdym kroku. Angela z recepcji to niezwykle kompetentna i pomocna osoba, która od samego wejścia świetnie się nami zaopiekowała. Szczególne brawa należą się również restauracji – nasz ulubiony kelner ma ogromny sentyment do Polaków😊 i dbał o nas wyjątkowo dobrze! Nasza ulubiona kelnerka była po prostu cudowna, zawsze uśmiechnięta i życzliwa. Nie można też zapomnieć o panu, który dba o plażę – to niezwykle przyjazny i miły człowiek. Gorąco polecamy to miejsce i tych wspaniałych ludzi!


We spent a wonderful week as a whole family at the hotel in Saly. The hotel is clean, and the entire staff takes incredible care of the guests at every turn. Angela from the reception is extremely competent and helpful, taking great care of us right from our arrival. Special kudos to the restaurant crew too – our favorite waiter has a great fondness for Polish guests 😊 and took exceptional care of us! Our favorite waitress was absolutely wonderful, always smiling and kind. We also want to mention the gentleman who takes care of the beach – he is an extremely friendly and kind person. We highly recommend this place and these wonderful people

Best Beach Stay We Ever Had
Pros:

Words don't do justice how much fun we had. The location is right at the beach, they give you towels your beach chairs are reserved based on the room number. So if you want the beach i honestly can't think of a better place to be.

The food is amazing, we had the breakfast option and we tried everything, everything was top notch. The restaurant is also famous for dinners and truly was the best dinner we had in Durrës

The staff are exceptional. Very helpful they really go above and beyond to make your stay amazing. I will definitely definitely go there again

Good hotel room, dishonest staff

Clean hotel room by the beach with a comfortable bed.

Cons:

The dishonest staff member tried to overcharge us at checkout compared to the listed price. I told her I did not appreciate that and showed the listed price on Booking.com, which she corrected. However, I believe she did this intentionally, as she looked at her colleague immediately after and said in Albanian that they could not get us this time.
