Pros:

Wonderful hotel in a beautiful setting high on a bluff overlooking the sea. Modern, clean and very comfortable room. I had two good meals in the hotel restaurant with excellent service from Aldo. He also makes a great Negroni. Highly recommended

Wonderful hotel in a beatiful setting high on a bluff overlooking the sea. Clean, modern and very comfortable. The infinity pool is sublime. Food and service in the hotel restaurant were very good. Special mention to Aldo for taking good care of me in the restaurant. He makes an excellent negroni.

The view is fantastic, no doubt. Nice pool and otdoor area. Disappointed by the room, which had extensive water damage and a poorly cleaned bathroom with a smell to it.

Only for people with a car as situated far up the mountain and far from any means of travel around unless you have a car . Otherwise awesome place

Great hotel, fantastic staff, they will go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable…we knew this before hand but you will need a car or a driver, nothing is walkable.
The beach was amazing and gjipe beach is a must

Zwembad heeft fantastisch uitzicht
Pros:

Het is een vrij nieuw hotel. Het zwembad heeft een waanzinnig mooi uitzicht. Wij verbleven met z’n 5-en (2 volw, 3 kinderen (15,13,7) in de familie suite. Goede bedden, schone kamer. Goede stille airco.
Het Dhermi strand is met de auto vlakbij 20 minuten rijden en heeft leuke en mooie restaurants waar je goed kan eten. En bedjes kan huren.

Hotellet ligger højt oppe på bjerget, hvilket giver en flot udsigt – men også en følelse af at være ret isoleret fra strandrestauranter, butikker og hyggelige barer.

Ja, hotellet har både egen restaurant og bar, men desværre lever de ikke op til forventningerne: Maden er skuffende, serviceniveauet lavt, og priserne tre gange så høje som i resten af området.

Inden du booker Amare, så tænk over, om det er den type ferie, du er ude efter – vi blev ærligt talt overraskede, og det er ikke et sted, vi vender tilbage til.

We stayed for 4 nights, the check-in service was excellent. The dining service was strange, one evening our main meals came out separately about 15 minutes apart, as there was 7 of us, it took around 1.5 hours for all the food to come out. We ended up having to eat lunch there again due to bad weather, we had to insist on all of our food being brought out together which they did manage to do. We were slightly put off and didn’t want to eat there again. Also asking for pool towels for example, I was questioned as 4 had been given but we were a party of 7. It’s very remote, you need a car, can’t walk anywhere really in the heat. Lovely setting in the pool/cabanas.

Loved this hotel and will definitely be back again. As a solo female traveller i was made to feel safe and the staff at the hotel went over and above to assist me with everything. Particularly in respect of linking my taxi up in time for the bus in dhermi. The hotel owner and bar staff cannot do enough for you. The hotel was spotlessly clean, with stunning views. Drinks a little on the pricy side but that is the only negative. Will definitely be back again.
