Pros:

Unschlagbare Lage, sehr schön renoviert / restauriert! Sehr faires Parkplatzarrangement. 25 Minuten Fahrzeit zum Flughafen Tirana.

locatie in de burcht

Cons:

Voor de prijs mag ik verwachten dat de zaken goed geregeld zijn maar dat waren ze net niet.
Belangrijkste struikelblok was dat de temperatuur in de kamer was niet omlaag te krijgen was. ik werd 'savonds om 23uur wel nog netjes te woord gestaan via Whatsapp, maar eind van het verhaal was dat het 'snachts vanzelf koeler zou worden. Ramen open gehad, verwarming uitgezet maar de temperatuur in de kamer daalde niet. Reden was dat het centrale verwarmingssysteem op 'verwarmen' stond ingesteld en daar was niks aan te doen.
In potentie is het een fijne locatie (effe lopen naar de parking) maar er mag iets meer aandacht voor details zijn.

Delightful stay within the Kruje castle walls.
Pros:

We liked that it was within the "castle walls" yet it was newly renovated and comfortable. Parking was outside the walls but in a reserved lot and our luggage was soon tranferred for us by motorcycle. If we had needed assistance climbing up to the hotel, I'm sure it would have been available. Our host was friendly and helpful. His English was good and he was eager to answer questions we had about the property and his plans to improve more of the crumbling neighboring buildings. Our room was simple but tasteful with hints of "old world". We had a balcony with a view looking to the Montenegro coast. The bathroom was on the small side, but the shower stall was enclosed and had a strong flow. It was not really a problem, but when we returned from dinner, there was no water available from the sink tap. A message to reception was quickly answered and this was resolved within a few minutes. Breakfast was not elaborate, more European with cheeses, salami, boiled eggs and croissants that had either chocolate or pistachio filling...no plain. Nice change of pace.

Dit is een van de beste locaties van Albanië. Het straalt luxe en comfort uit. Het uitzicht is magisch, de locatie geweldig.

Superlocatie… heel rustig, fantastisch uitzicht en toch overal dichtbij!
Pros:

Superlocatie aan de voet van het kasteel met prachtig uitzicht op de vallei vanaf ons balkon. Het is ff een paar honderd meter lopen vanaf de parkeerplaats en een eindje klimmen, maar heel goed te doen.

Cons:

De verwarming stond aan terwijl het buiten heerlijk weer was.

Excellent location, friendly staff, and the view is unparalleled.
Pros:

Amazing location right next to Kruja castle. Check staff were amazing and upgraded our room. Highly recommend for the location of the hotel. It small and cute!

Cons:

Nothing to dislike. Like most hotels in the area, dinner options are not available. But that's ok.

Relaxt, goed verzorgd op een plek om nooit meer te vergeten!
Pros:

De locatie prachtige omgeving, nabij kasteel en bazaar en restaurants, luxe en mooi ingericht, host heel behulpzaam en sprak goed Engels, prima ontbijt, hulp bij koffers de berg op dragen, transfer terug naar airport geregeld door host.

Cons:

Dat de Albanese show voor besloten gezelschap was; zou leuk zijn als er ook een show voor ons mogelijk was geweest.

Unieke locatie! Dichtbij het centrum, maar net uit de drukte met prachtig uitzicht. We vertrokken vroeg waardoor ze speciaal de avond van te voren ontbijt voor ons hadden geregeld. Kamer was ook schoon en voorzien van mooi licht.

Es hat einfach alles gepasst. Der Betreiber ist freundlich und bemüht sich, alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Die Zimmer sind sehr komfortabel. Die Lage ist einfach großartig und ruhig. Frühstück auf einer kleinen Terrasse, einfach aber absolut ausreichend und 1A Qualität. Absolute Empfehlung.
Restaurant gibt es keines, aber zum erstklassigen Restaurant Bardhi sind es nur ein paar Schritte.

The view during breakfast is second to none.
Location is excellent.
Rooms are decent size and comfortable

We circled around for about half an hour before we found the parking location. More a google maps issue though.
