Lovely family run business in an authentic, beautiful hotel that was very clean. Better than a typical 5 star hotel.
Pros:

The location was stunning, the accommodation was comfortable while being impeccably clean, customer service was wonderful, and the included breakfast was delicious. It’s a family run business that cares about what they do. They went out of their way to help me and even took me somewhere for currency exchange. Highly, highly recommend. I stayed in a 5 star hotel in Albania and stone sky was much better and cleaner. One of my favorite stays to date. Especially as a solo traveler.

Cons:

If you’re not capable of walking hills you might want to taxi into old town otherwise it’s a 5-10 min walk on uneven ground. Not too far but secluded enough that it’s away from the chaos of old town. I personally enjoyed the walk.

Ein tolles Hotel
Pros:

Ein sehr liebevoll eingereichtes Hotel und unser Zimmer war fantastisch! Das Personal war auch sehr zuvorkommend und wir haben tatsächlich überlegt noch eine Nacht länger zu bleiben, als geplant. Wärmstens zu empfehlen!

Je veux déjà y revenir!
Pros:

Un hôtel sublime avec beaucoup de charme, bien équipé, propre et des vues à couper le souffle.

Cons:

Bémol, qui n’en ai pas vraiment un, il est situé en hauteur, (comme toute la ville d’ailleurs) donc s’attendre à marcher sur des routes en pentes.

Fantastic boutique hotel: great location, nice rooms & delicious breakfast
Pros:

At 15’ walking distance from the bazar and Castle, this family owned boutique hotel is a jewel. Super clean, everything looks new and it’s nicely decorated. Secluded from the tourists, it has a nice terrace overlooking the mountains. The bed was really comfortable. The owners Geni and Linda, as well as all their personnel, are friendly and very responsive they help with the parking and bringing the luggage to the rooms. The breakfast is delicious and super generous. One of the best hotels, we stayed in Albania. Highly recommended

Cons:

Not a problem for us, but if you have any mobility issues, this hotel is not for you. Access to the hotel requires climbing stairs and rooms are in 2nd and 3rd floors. The walking distance to the tourist attractions implies a walk through steep streets.

Wunderschöne Einrichtung, blitzsaubere und sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer, unglaublich freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal und ein wundervolles, außergewöhnliches Frühstück mit einer tollen Auswahl! Wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit toller Aussicht beim abendlichen Drink.
Parkplätze in unmittelbarer Nähe vorhanden, Einparkservice inklusive. Zentrum/Basar von Gjirokastra fußläufig bequem erreichbar.

Pros:

Gorgeous renovated building! The rooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable! The terrace was perfect for a relaxed , delicious evening meal and the staff were very attentive! Thank you for a wonderful stay !

Comment passer un excellent moment à Gjirokastër
Pros:

Le sens de l’accueil et du service prend tout son sens dans cet hôtel, aussi bien de la part des employés que des patrons.
L’emplacement offre un vrai calme tout en étant à quelques minutes du vieux centre.
L’hôtel est très chaleureux, très soigné, très propre, et le petit déjeuner incroyable!!
Seul bémol comme dans presque tous les hôtels en Albanie, c’est le matelas qui est un peu trop mou .. mais pour autant le séjour a été tellement agréable que je recommande vivement

Friendly and helpful staff
The evening staff member was particularly nice and helpful (even parking the car for us). The same applied to the morning staff. Communication was excellent, with fast and helpful responses. Breakfast was exceptional, served with a great view. The hotel itself has plenty of charm.

Cons:

Nothing negative, but know there are a lot of steps. Worth the view though.
