Location, amenities and the room itself. Really well furnished, with all high quality details that are almost never seen in hotels nor B&Bs.

The location was perfect for the stay, being just off the main walking street, Corso Umberto. It was a little challenging to get there and back from the taxi drop-off point, given restrictions on vehicle access and the number of steps to be navigated, especially with the amount of luggage we were carrying - shame on us! The rooms were comfortable. Coffee, tea, water, wine all available in room. We travelled out of season, but Corso Umberto was still thronged with people until late at night - probably hellish in the summer!

Taormina Infinity Suites could not have been better located for restaurants, shopping, and sightseeing, as it was just steps away from Piazza IX Aprile, the very heart of the city with spectacular views. This small boutique hotel is managed by an energetic, responsive, and kind owner, Francesco. He went above and beyond to help us with a few difficulties. Everyone knows Taormina is a town that sits vertically on a mountain overlooking the Ionean Sea. As I planned the trip, I knew the hotel was in a pedestrian zone, but did not consider how we might get there from the taxi drop off point. We followed directions and stopped at a street above Infinity Suites. When we found the hotel street, it was steep steps, all the way down. I could not carry my suitcase, so I walked down and asked for help. Francesco offered to carry it, but a young couple kindly carried it, so problem solved. Francesco said he would be happy to carry our bags up the stairs on our departure and he did.
Our room was exactly how it looked in the photos, had a comfortable bed, large shower with great water pressure, and an easy flight of stairs to Corso Umberto, the main commercial street in town. We easily walked everywhere including the Roman amphitheater and cathedral. On our first night, the bed seemed very cool to me, almost damp, but my husband had no problem with it. I called Francesco the next day and asked for a dehumidifier, so he said he would see that someone checked the the combo air conditioner heater. I had a terrible feeling that he could do nothing about it, since I had difficulty explaining the problem and he did not know the word "humidifier". Why should he? How could adjusting a thermostat help a humidity problem? Upon our return that afternoon, it was apparent that the blankets and sheets had been changed and the thermostat showed 2 digital water drops. The system was also a dehumidifier!!! His thoughtful, high quality renovation of the property made our stay perfect.

The owner was very helpful and he help us to arrange a car to get to the meeting point of mount Etna and also send us to the hotel in Catania. This is significant considering the Christmas holiday season. We really appreciate that. The location of the hotel is unbeatable.

Everything was perfect! The host Francesco was extremely kind. So such an amazing place to stay can make you return to a place you've already visited, even though you want to visit many more places you haven't been! That's how great the power of a quality place to stay is, that's the highest rating and the main goal - to make you come back! We certainly do! Thank you!
