Pros:

I had booked, paid and the hotel confirmed but when I arrived the hotel was fully booked and I couldnt stay there. Super un professional

Siisti hotelli hyvällä paikalla
Pros:

Uudehko pikkuhotelli turistien kannalta hyvällä paikalla Osussa. Lähellä oli paljon ravintoloita ja myös hyvä ruokakauppa.

Hotellia ei ulkoa tunnistaisi hotelliksi, talo näyttää enemmän toimistolta ja oven päällä lukee "Ark Investments".

Viestittely hotellin kanssa etukäteen sujui hyvin. Huoneeni oli siisti ja tilava. Nettiyhteys tosin pätki välillä pahastikin.

Vaikka Hotels.com:ssa sanottiin, että aamiainen kuuluisi hintaan, niin ei kuulunut. Lähellä oli onneksi 24/7 auki oleva ravintola. Myöskään lentokenttäkuljetukset eivät kuuluneet hintaan, mutta Uber lentokentältä maksoi vain muutaman euron.

Lentokenttä ei ole kovin kaukana ja yöpymiseni aikana lentokoneet nousivat hotellin yli, mistä aiheutui lentomelua.

Ark hotel review: things to check
Pros:

The staff was very nice and friendly, and very accommodating. Very helpful overall. However, the hotel was advertised to be with continental breakfast served, and with free shuttle to the airport. This was not the case. No breakfast, no shuttle.

Also, my room was too far from the main wifi of the hotel. So I had my own wifi. Which technically sounds good, except that it was not working. So at the end, I had no wifi in my room and had to go to the lobby for any signal. Not great. The staff and owner tried to fix it though, with no luck.

In addition, I had no luck in the sense that the water heather in my room was also not working. Not sure why... it looked brand new. In any case, that was not so big of an issue since the weather calls for colder than warmer water.

The room otherwise was spacious, super clean, well decorated, with a functional TV, and fridge. It was also very quiet and with comfortable bed.

I would definitely go back there, but would ask to check for wifi and warm water before anything (if this is important to you). Or do not pay before but there once you have verified these aspects... it is Africa... it is what it is.

Another good aspect: the location is great, with cafe and restaurants very close. That was helpful for getting breakfast!
