I arrived only to find out my reservation could not be fulfilled. I was told they are fully booked. What a nightmare!
The room was nice very big for a studio
The apartment was nice and clean
I booked this room through expedia and the rate was good but I did not know that it was a room rented by a hostess instead of a hotel. The room was nice but the front desk communication was confusing and no one was available to assist with luggage. The advertisement said there was a free shuttle to the airport but no one at the property was aware of it. There was not enough communication about check-in.
Apartment fine. Communication poor, messages often not responded to . Transport transfer mired in lack of understanding what they will do and what they will charge?? It appears that this is outsourced by Unique homes and the cars provided are just about roadworthy.The Embassy Gardens suites complex is fine and recommended and there are many providers. My advice choose one that provides clear and good checking in information in a timely manner and responds quickly to any concerns.
Well overall everything is alright. But l give a thumbs up for Jessica. I had a few problems but she went far and beyond to solve them. I am grateful.
I arrived in the country despite requesting check-in and check-out details, security information, and the address, 20 days before our stay we received minimal information.
We spent 40 minutes in a taxi (the journey should have taken only 20 minutes) trying to find the apartment due to incorrect details provided, resulting in me paying double the taxi fare. Try contacting the host/agency for support nothing. Local Taxi man had to stop and ask for directions.
Despite having self-check-in, the full details of the process were not given, and the security staff were not helpful, took another 40 mins to get into the apartment.
I was not contacted by the host during my stay, and when I reported having no hot water, I was only given instructions via text that did not work. The shower also flooded.
On the last day, I contacted the host again for check-out details, but my message went unanswered. Instead, I had people knocking on my door at 10 AM and then again at 11 AM, rushing us to leave.
There were no facilities available to store our luggage, despite reception claiming otherwise. I was extremely disappointed with Unique Homes, as my stay was ruined and it affected our last day—especially since we had seven pieces of luggage to carry around for six hours before needing to check in for our flight. We had to cancel brunch and massages due to these issues. To top it all off, the lifts were undergoing maintenance at check-out time, forcing us to carry our luggage down the stairs.

Property is nice for the price. Clean, good location. Staff at hotel do not accommodate you because it is an owner rental. So is difficult to contact owner when you have needs. Representatives foor owner are not cordial or happy. They are blunt and to the point.
Personal requests were addressed immediately in a concerned and professional manner.

Amazing property, very peaceful. I loved the layout of the apartment and it was very clean. The host was very helpful. Good location 10-15 mins to get to all hotspots. Would be definitely book again if I stayed in Ghana.
when getting a hotel, even though you guys are individually own properties that you’re renting out as short-term living stays! You’re supposed to make sure that the places as convenient as possible. The towels were extremely hard, there were no towels to put on the floor to help the room stay clean. I had to use the whole big towel. There was no soap in the room. I had to ask for soap which was later on brought to me. There was no water, Tea no type of beverages whatsoever. Being Not from Ghana, coming from a whole other state it wasn’t easy for me to originally find water which I did but the first night was so inconvenience. There was no type of basic necessities in that room. Upon check-in I think they knocked on my door over 10 times asking me if I was somebody else, it was just very unprofessional and hopefully the next person who comes into the room does not have to experience the same thing that I experienced.
NO TV, NO HOT WATER. GIVEN A FALSE EXCHANGE RATE BY THE PERSON COLLECTING THE MONEY, WHICH RESULTED IN A HIGHER COST THAN WHAT EXPEDIA QUOTED ON LINE. EXPEDIA NEEDS TO MONITOR THIS PERSON WHO IS SCAMMING YOUR CUSTOMERS. EXPEDIA OWES US THE EXTRA MONEY COLLECTED BY THAT GREETER.
The property itself is beautiful outside and inside the facility however with the rooms lighting is bad, especially for the ladies doing makeup is going to trouble. They don’t have mirrors to do a full look of yourself. Outlets aren’t universal. My WiFi wasn’t working for 3 days I brought it up couple of times they kept saying it fixed. It was a custodian who came to clean my room who mentioned “ your WiFi is finished” before I knew what was going on- I had to call and tell them this before they “topped it up”. Custodian had to push a knife in the outlet to plug the facility’s iron in because it wasn’t even compatible with the outlet. The cleaners keep extra cleaning stuff in rooms and they come knocking on the door, wake you up to grab stuff from your room for other rooms. Overall embarrasy suites is in a good area, close to osu and east legon, nice campus but the rooms aren’t good and the many interruptions and inconvenience listed above.

El estudio cuenta con todas las comodidades, como microondas, lavadora, internet o TV por satélite funcionando perfectamente. Y además la piscina, gimnasio o el restaurante, permitan disfrutar de la estancia.
Además, lo que necesité (pilas para el mando a distancia o una toalla) me lo proporcionaron rápidamente sin problemas.
Solo un pero. Sería un 10 absoluto si hubiera gel de ducha y champú.
It looks very clean from the outside. I had roach crawling on my bed. It was really terrible. Bathroom tub is also running slow.
The property was well kept. Good facilities
I stayed for two nights. I was expecting shuttle service as stated when I was booking the room and provided my booking reference and arrival time as requested days before I left my destination but received no response. When I messaged the manager before I boarded my flight to confirm shuttle service, I received a message from her when I arrived at Kotoka that I should have requested for it 24 hrs before departure. That was very disappointing after providing her with that info.
Also the property entrance to reception area is not easily accessible if, you have suitcases with you because you have to climb steps. I addition, where my room was located D - Block too there other steps too leading to the room not as bad as the entrance. However, if you have just cabin suitcase then that's fine easily manageable not big suitcases. In a nutshell the property is not suitable for disabled people.
The property too lack signs to help you know where you are going so, you keep going in circles and asking people for help.
The room I stayed in had intercom or phone but it wasn't connected so was unable to contact reception for any help without walking there yourself.
When I 1st checked in I was helped by some kind men outside the building and Patrick helped me with my suitcases to my room. However, when it was time to check out and went to ask for help the lady at reception was very abrupt and rude and said they ( men at the desk/ security) are not allowed to help anybody.
