Freundliches, modernes Hotel mit guter Parkmöglichkeit und bester Lage.
Pros:

Lage, Ausstattung, Freundlichkeit des Personals und gute Parkmöglichkeit.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet, aber wurde in einem lauten, völlig überfüllten Raum mit wirklich ungemütlicher Atmosphäre serviert. Wirklich schade.

Pros:

Perfect location, with views of Ljubljana castle. Only 3 mins walk to old town but taxis can still drop you off with your luggage as it’s not actually inside old town. Room was simple but clean.

Cons:

TV wasn’t working.

Pros:

Overall, the hotel was perfectly fine. The room was comfortable and we really appreciated having on-site parking, although getting to it and navigating the different levels, scanners and access system was rather complicated. Breakfast was decent - nothing particularly memorable, but perfectly adequate.

Cons:

Unfortunately, one interaction at reception left a very unpleasant impression. I initially tried to communicate in Slovenian as I am studying the language and naturally using each opportunity to practice. As a foreigner, I obviously don’t speak it on a native level, but instead of meeting me halfway, the receptionist seemed unwilling to understand me and spoke extremely quickly despite it being quite clear that I was struggling to follow.
I then tried Croatian, as the hotel’s Booking.com listing states that Croatian is one of the languages spoken by the staff. I was rather abruptly told that Croatian was not spoken at the hotel, which was confusing given the information provided on the listing.
I don’t expect hotel staff to speak every language, and communicating in English was absolutely fine. What bothered me was the attitude. I was genuinely making an effort to communicate in the local language, and the interaction made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. Unfortunately, it left a sour taste after an otherwise perfectly good stay - to the point that afterwards I felt reluctant to even try speaking Slovenian during the rest of my trip.

Die Lage war super und sehr zentral. Man ist gut zu Fuss überall und hat auch den Bus direkt vor dem Hotel. Frühstück und andere Angebote waren reichlich und sehr lecker.

Great location. Modern rooms
Pros:

Great location, super friendly staff… The rooms are remodeled and very modern. Some people complain about the parking, but I found it very easy to park at the hotel… After you book, you receive an email notification from the hotel and all you have to do is respond back to the reserve a spot and they will share with you a QR code that you can use to access the Garage. Parking is €35 per day. I had my access from 12 PM to 3 PM.

Cons:

The pillows are a bit soft to my liking… But that’s just a personal preference
