Not coming back. Avoid this option on weekends!
Pros:

As a former hotelier, I’m always honest on my reviews. The only two assets that this property can rely on as a strength are: the staff, always cordial, everyone was efficient and doing a great job at all times. On a second place, the property on itself. Seems like it was revamped, a working elevator, and the first impression with the room is amazing.

Cons:

The primary objective of course, is to rest. I stayed from Saturday until Monday. And here is the heavy list of reasons why I wouldn’t recommend this place:

• extremely loud street and surrounding bars. Yes, this is entirely out of their control but I’m telling you, if you have a light sleep at night, this place is not for you.
• the hotel is a 5 story building and on Saturdays evenings they rent the second floor to a CHURCH! Yes…the type of church with a band and huge sound systems and of course there is zero sound proofing, a nightmare… around 1:30am on Sunday your able to close your eyes finally, ONLY to recognize that since 7am on Sundays until noon, the church is going full throttle again. Guaranteed headache.
• the water heater on the shower doesn’t to it’s job, they even warn you not to use it for over 10min, a hazard and not a warm shower if you’re a fan of one.
• they have a TV installed on the rooms, I think it’s just better to take them down. A cable signal worthy of a prison and of course no smart connectivity whatsoever.

So it’s a very safe and pretty property. But definitely they are making some decisions towards profitability and not the guest’s experience.

Meh.
Pros:

De locatie was handig voor mijn werk. Het personeel was vriendelijk, maar niet altijd te vinden.

Cons:

De schoonmaak was heel oppervlakkig. De lakens waren oud en hadden (ingewassen) vlekken. Er lag een mysterieuze kleverige plas op de grond voor het bed op dag 2. Ontbijt zou vanaf 7 uur geserveerd worden, maar de keuken ging open om 7.00 en het ontbijt was er pas vanaf een uur of half 8. Alles was met plakplastic of vinyl overtrokken om het een nettere uitstraling te geven. Als je aan de voorkant slaapt, gebruik dan oordoppen, want het verkeer is heel luid.

Muy agradable.
Pros:

Desayuno no disfrute. El alojamiento muy agradable y tranquilo. Todo el personal muy amable.

Pros:

El personal es extremadamente amable, fue un proceso sencillo y rápido para el check-in. Me permitieron dejar mi maleta en recepción ya que llegue antes de la hora.
El cuarto es amplio, al igual que el baño. Ambos muy limpios. La ducha tiene agua caliente.

Cons:

La cama estaba dura

A surprising gem of a hotel in downtown Quetzaltenango.
Pros:

A very nice hotel, convenient walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Bright and spacious with every amenity.
