Pros:

Location was great, staff was great, rooms were very spacious and clean!

Cons:

Everything was great, just the last night our air wasn’t working too well, we had to be up by 2am fo the airport so we roughed it out. Our bad, we should of reported it, but we’re just to overwehlmed with the thought of waking up at 2.

A great stay for first time in Puerto Rico
Pros:

The amenities were nice. It was in a great location where you can walk to the beach and find a good food spot. For the most part, the front desk staff, specifically Monica was so nice and friendly.

Cons:

The manager on site was not personable. The room smelled a little humid. Whenever you flushed the toilet, it would leave a unpleasant smell.

The bed mattress seemed old and the sheets were not cotton. No housekeeping, only trash and towel refresh. No convenience stores nearby.

The stay was okay

That it was right by the beach

Cons:

My room wasn’t ready when I got there. I even waited up at the rooftop for 2 hours to give them time and the front desk was like no it’s still not ready. Front desks gave me a room that I didn’t purchase. Just a frustrating way to start a vacation

I tolerated the stay by mostly being outside the room
Pros:

The hotel is a few steps from the beach. Hotel room was spacious. Rooftop restaurant and bar had good food and drinks and the view was spectacular.

Cons:

My room (405) had extremely poor air and carpet quality. Upon entering, I was immediately met with a strong odor of mold and noticeable dusty air. As someone with significant allergies to dust and mold, this was especially concerning and made the room very uncomfortable to stay in. I requested a room change, but unfortunately the hotel was fully booked. Staff placed an ozone purifier in the room, which helped reduce the mold odor, but the air remained dusty and difficult to tolerate. I was genuinely worried about triggering an asthma attack and even considered sleeping on the balcony for fresh air. I tolerated the 1 night stay by mostly being outside the room. It was very disheartening to pay almost $400/night for a room that i couldn't relax in and enjoy. I am seriously dissappointed with my stay at Casa Costera in room 405. Management: The carpet and AC filter in room 405 clearly need to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned. It is unfair to offer this room in exchange was someone's hard earn money.
