Avoid, Avoid, Avoid!
Pros:

I rarely, if ever write a negative review, but this hotel was terrible. First, the wouldn't except my hotels.com payment, so I need to re-pay in order to get my room. Second, the room was not all like that pictured on the website -- you had to have room on another floor to have one of those pictured rooms; mine was a cramped hellhole with thin walls. Third, people in room next to me were carrying on a loud, animated discussion and laughing loudly, so at 1:30am I went to the desk to complain. They did nothing; by 4am I had had enough and packed up and went down to the lobby to spend the rest of the night there, and to cancel my next night's booking. At the lobby was a woman sitting alone; they had given her room to someone else even though she had had a paid reservation. Fourth, I had to wait until 9:30am to get a refund for my second night's stay, but in order to get a refund, they needed to refund my original payment, and then charge me back for the one night that I had sorted of stayed. They managed to charge me for the one night, but 3-weeks later I still haven't seen the refund for my initial two night payment, so effectively they have collected 3-nights payment for a one night stay. Not to mention, the payment I had made to hotels.com -- that, however, has since been corrected by hotels.com.

I would avoid this hotel at all cost! There are many other nicer hotels in Baku!
