Très bel accueil. Très bon séjour.

It was not bad but I never really meet any one someone to welcome you would have been nice..

The steps at the entrance.

Cons:

Parking was absolutely horrible. There is no clear direction on parking. You cant park at the property and there's a sign which says to park through the second left turn.when you make the turn, every where on the street is filled with no parking signs. Apparently you are supposed to know that you have to get out your car, somehow unlock a chain barrier (which is also marked 'No parking') and park in that area.
Other parking is across the road at a completely different facility with no security and no cameras. Expect vandalism.

Also, the shower was filthy. There is mold in the corners and on the shower pipes.

For the 3 nights I was there, I had hot water 0 times.

You can hear your neighbors even though all the doors are closed.

The vanity in the bathroom is too big and takes up 80% of the space. Poor design.

The wifi and cable TV was terrible. Constantly buffering. We were not able to watch anything as it was too frustrating.

A no frill reasonably priced small hotel, in a great location.
Pros:

Maxwell Del Mar is in a great location. It lies between Oistins and St Lawrence gap which are both popular visitor spots where you can find reasonably priced food and places that offer entertainment.

There are local buses that run frequently to the main town (Bridgetown)

Maxwell beach is within walking distance. There are other beautiful beaches (browns beach) just a short bus ride away. The sand at Browns beach is stunning and the food is lovely.

Cons:

I checked in on Monday, the Cafe/restaurant didn't open until the Thursday. The breakfast that I wanted (saltfish and bake) wasn't available on the morning I requested it.

2 of the mornings I think there might have been a children's party. It was quite noisy but I think that's more due to my room entrance being on the side entrance to the garden. When leaving my room I had to knock before I opened the door as I had children dancing infront of my door.

This hotel needs some serious attention to its rooms. I checked in a room with a lot of broken stuff, the images online didn’t look the same. The parking a lot is not directly onsite and the area for parking doesn’t feel safe at night.

This should be listed as a motel for the price paid!!

Nice friendly staff, their restaurant was good, but we rather go elsewhere as the menu was small. But the food we did get was good. Only thing that was not good was Saturday night they have a DJ who played music way too loud and until 12 midnight. I get that its a vacation/party vibe but the rooms are not very sound proof.Which brings me to the next, we could hear our neighbor talk and hear his tv. Im sure he could hear us too. Other than that we liked it.

The hotel was very affordable
I loved the fact that it had a restaurant and bar and i didnt have to worry about walking far to find food. Mr Hal at the reception was exceptionally helpful and very kind during my stay. He made sure i was taken care of including getting me a taxi back to the airport on time. I really enjoyed my stay. Id definitely return
