The room Ac was broken and stayed on 23 Celsius. Called every night and nothing was done. They did send someone and he put it to 22 and it went back to 34 Celsius.
The restaurant staff are wonderful, friendly and helpful. They made the holiday
The housekeeping needed work. Our room was not cleaned the first day, on the second day when they did clean it they took the bath mats and hand towels but did not put in clean ones. The restaurant facilities are not up to expectations and the lunch and dinner buffets were just OK. The exception was the service and food in the Steak House - that was excellent.
Scenery! Butler Rashad was Amazing!!
Water wasn’t the hottest
Everything was Amazing
Beautiful resort with marble and wood decor in the rooms. Pools were amazing, especially the quiet one near building 5. Restaurants were excellent as well.
The best part was the staff working there. We were traveling with a 7 month old and he was treated so well from the moment we arrived. I genuinely cannot think of a complaint
Everything was great
The property was very nice, well kept and had everything we needed!
We didn’t have a beach connected to the resort you had to walk past the resort and then down a flight of stairs to a plain beach with little to no beach and no pretty scenery
Excelente servicio
El cambio de sabanas en habitaciones , el servicio en playa muy deficiente
Could have been much better. Not much food option and large site didn’t really live up to promises on entertainment etc
The tiles - fell over morning one on the slippy tiles - was put in a cast so never got to see the beach (couldn’t get down the steps) or swim.
It was quite and all of the staff was friendly.
No beach access.
I was a little apprehensive prior to my stay due to the negative reviews but myself and my partner were very pleasantly surprised.
The food was AMAZING. I’m not sure what the other reviews were talking about but the food was so delicious. We couldn’t stop eating here! We tried all the restaurants and loved each one. The buffet was probably our favourite.
The drinks service at Castleview was a little slow but apart from that, no complaints.
The rooms were stunning, very lush. The view from our room of the sea was *chef’s kiss*. I would highly recommend this resort.
The cocktails were really good too. Not watered down or stingy with alcohol. No complaints there either.
Our room was cleaned daily and fridge restocked.
The grab-and-go is also very clutch when you just want a quick drink or bite.
Sam Lord’s Grill was nice and tasty. I had the shrimp taco mainly.
The Lantern Bar was our favourite ! The staff were great vibes and ensured we had a great time. The music at the pools/bars is a mix of different genres which is a good vibe.
Apart from our first night, the shower water was never warm. Mostly cold or lukewarm at best. You can imagine this isn’t great if you’re someone who doesn’t like cold showers
The daily resort itinerary seemed very lit but because there weren’t many other guests around , the activities weren’t really fulfilled. It would have been livelier if there were activities throughout our stay but I can say that the staff did try their best with live performances each night and some pool volleyball and karaoke.
The staff were mainly friendly but a few here and there seemed a bit blunt and dismissive.
The rooms are very nice and spacious, comfortable beds and nice views. The hotel has the infrastructure to be the 5* hotel as advertised
Our stay was very disappointing, this is a 5* hotel run as a 2*, firstly the food is very poor quality, poor choice, they ran out of everyday items frequently, flies on the buffet food, poor execution of cooking, two of the four restaurants closed, leaving only the buffet and one other restaurant open, luckily we only stayed 2 nights. The staff are very disinterested, they lack the basic customer service skills, everything feels like a chore, the service is a long way short of a 5* hotel. The beach is a no go zone, months of seaweed has been left to pile up, which leaves a very potent smell wafting around the hotel. The hotel grounds are scruffy, lacking attention to detail. This hotel is clearly being run on a budget to save on costs at the expense of the customers experience, I read the hotel is up for sale, perhaps this explains the attitude of the staff and quality of service and options provided at the hotel, it’s a real shame.
Cleaniness and Comfortable room
Far from everything , and very unfriendly staff!
