I don’t often leave hotel reviews but this one deserves one!
First of all I’d like to remind everyone that courtyard hotels is not a luxury segment of marriot hotels, however their client orientation is 20/10, they went over and beyond to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Not every W hotel goes as attentive to guests wishes and comments as much as people working in this hotel do. A big thank you from me to the whole team! Room service is exceptional… quick, attentive, even little drink is taken into account and they will make sure it will be made up to! Seriously… I don’t remember last time I had such an attentive attitude at hotel, food is delicious, people are super welcoming and warm - I felt like home.
Location of hotel is perfect, close to main landmarks of Yerevan, beautiful streets, bars and restaurants.
Rooms are clean, minimalistic, typical business class hotel type. Loved the water refills daily (let me remind you this is not a luxury hotel segment).
Massage… tried massage with both of their therapists and they were both simply wonderful, 10/10.
Really nice gym facilities, quite spacious for such a small hotel. View on Ararat as you run on a treadmill I think deserves a separate statement!
Personnel at reception, at spa, at room service, at lobby and gia restaurant - all super friendly and super warm, honestly I just wanted to hug them😄
Loved the Courtyard by Marrriot in Yerevan and highly recommend it!
- welcoming message in booking.com is not “hi welcome we are glad you chose us” but something like “hi we would like to remind you that final payment amount is xxx”. That’s weird, I had no questions about payment or whatsoever, sending this as a welcoming message is not nice :) there was no other following message to fix that.
- a little cheap feel of furniture in the rooms, I believe they could have done a little better even though they are not a luxury segment. Also those stickers on the mirrors 🙈🙈 please set the mirrors free from those cheap looking stickers… it gives an impression they try to hide some damage behind those stickers, besides the fact that they don’t make the room look any better and stealing an extra mirror from the interior
- there’s no relaxation room in the spa… there’s some kind of a room, but it’s hard to relax on wooden cascade benches in a room that’s a common open area with changing rooms and saunas.
- “city view” is kind of disappointing… I thought I paid extra for it hence I expected to see a little more than a courtyard of a residential building across the road.
