Hotel Arami by Downtown

The windows let cold air through in spite of the curtains. Perhaps would be good to move the bed a bit farther away.
And we killed a small bug looking like a cockroach on our last day in the room. But I hope it was just an accident.

Malheureusement, le chauffage de la chambre n’était pas assez élevé. Nous avons eue un peu froid.

Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing. The hotel was under constant construction—loud noise literally 24/7. A hotel is supposed to be a place to rest and relax, yet I paid full price while dealing with nonstop construction sounds all day.
When I left my room, there was rubble and debris everywhere, making it difficult and unpleasant to walk around the property.
I was told there was a shared kitchen where I could store and eat food, but every time I wanted to use it, the staff were occupying the space themselves, which made it uncomfortable for me to go in and eat.
The TV did not work initially, although to be fair, staff did come and fix it when I reported the issue.
The girl who checked me in was lovely and the only staff member I truly liked. The rest of the staff were just okay—nothing particularly welcoming or helpful.
At one point, I was even told not to return to the hotel for a few hours because they were doing some kind of cleaning, which I found unacceptable as a paying guest.

It didn't feel like being in a proper hotel. It's just the ground floor of an old building very close to a slope with no parking, with no proper path to the entrance, and a tiny reception area.There is not even a name board, and the taxi driver could not locate the place. It has very narrow corridors to the rooms that are packed in as little space as possible. Toilet is small and so close to the door that the door cannot be opened without hitting the toilet.

All'arrivo all'orario preventivamente concordato per il check-in (23:30) non abbiamo trovato camere disponibili a causa di overbooking.
L'albergo non ci ha avvisati avvisati prima dell'indisponibilità e non siamo stati assistiti per trovare un'altra sistemazione. Inoltre con una serie di messaggi a dir poco aggressivi veniva deplorato il comportamento della guida che ci accompagnava, come se la cosa (peraltro non vera) potesse in qualche modo diminuire la loro responsabilità. Addirittura in un primo momento hanno falsamente comunicato a Booking che non ci siamo presentati, come risulta da una comunicazione ricevuta da Booking, e solo successivamente hanno ammesso per mail che eravamo lì ma che non avevano camere disponibili. A parere nostro non sono degni di essere su Booking, con cui fino ad ora ci siamo sempre trovati bene. Abbiamo ripiegato su un altro albergo trovatoci dalla guida che ci accompagnava e abbiamo così potuto completare il nostro viaggio.
