Everything was great. This Hotel is awesome.

The only positive for this hotel is the bed - pretty comfortable. Unfortunately, the rest of the stay was a complete let-down. My strong advice is to stay anywhere else in Vang Vieng.
1. The room has zero sound proofing. This allows all the external noise (of which there is lots) in during the night. This makes sleep very difficult.
2. If you can get to sleep, you may be woken up by guests loudly talking in the corridors or reception calling your room at 1am. They asked if I wanted to move room - an absurd question at that time.
3. The pool is useless as it is in the shade for the whole day. It is too cold to use.
4. The breakfast is genuinely dreadful - dry fruit, cold bacon, bad coffee.
5. The cleaners don't clean your room - they only empty your bin. We were left with dirty towels, empty water bottles and no toilet paper.
6. $120 went missing from our travel case.
7. Very difficult to communicate with reception due to poor/ non existent English.
8. The balcony is useless as the hotel does not provide any chairs for it - it's just a waste of space.
These complaints were sent to the hotel directly. I've had no response.

Room is spacious. Bed and pillow are good.
Shower is good as well. Has a good location, near sights.
Pool is laying in the shadow all day and the water is ice cold. So technically you can't spend any time at the pool or in the sun.
During our whole stay it wasn't possible to pay by card, which they didn't mention. They said to try it later (they said it two times) and eventually said you couldn't pay by card this whole month.

They let you pay cash only. Then they have a fixed rate of their own if you don’t have US dollars. In Kip we had to pay more than what booking.com quoted for us as a result.
Beds too hard from the lowest quality, didn’t sleep well.
Bathroom had sometimes smell from the drainages.
Noise from the main street because the windows of the balcony are built poorly and do not block noise.
No coffee in the breakfast unless you like to drink a powder sachet of nescafe and consider this as “coffee”.
At 82 USD per night this hotel is totally not related to its price category. If you are looking for better standards look for another hotel.
If the rate was 55-60 USD we wouldn’t rate it badly since we would expect it to be of low quality. However here it’s misleading.
The staff had very bag English and it was hard to communicate.
We wanted to know the price of a taxi to the train station and they quoted us with 200K kip.
We rejected and found instantly a driver outside that took us for 100K kip. Ripping off tourists with 100% markup is out of taste.

This was a great hotel to stay at. The rooms were clean and the amenities were all stocked in the room. The view from the balcony was pretty great too. While there was a swimming pool, we didn't try it out but the waters looked clean and guest were using it. The breakfast was sufficient and was always hot - a simple but varied spread from eggs to local cuisine.
The staff at the reception were super helpful as well and they helped us book a songthaew to go the blue lagoon and provide a bit of direction on what we wanted from that trip to the driver. Thanks to Khamla for organising this for us along with the train tickets! Definitely recommend staying here - it's a pretty new hotel and the staff is super helpful!
They had lovely balconies that we could have enjoyed over a cup of tea/coffee in the morning. Unfortunately there were no chairs in the balcony that we could use to sit out.
Amazing staff, clean, real bedding, powerful AC, really nice breakfast, good pool, private and quiet (I stayed in the female dorm).
I have no complaints, however the hardware seemed a little cheap - the lock on my locker broke twice, but both times the staff fixed it without hesitation. I’d moved here from another hostel and felt SO much more comfortable. Absolutely recommend. Not social, but worth it.
Staff was exceptional, all made the 3 in our party exceptionally pleased. Rooms were excellent, front desk went out of there way to see we had everything we needed. Would go back.

The hotel was comfortable and it was great location.
The beds are a little hard and not the comfiest, but the rooms are clean, the staff are friendly. They opened the restaurant early for us so we could still have breakfast as we were leaving before the restaurant was open for breakfast, good choice of food available too.
Great location.
Lift sensors were no good. You need to enter & press hold.
