Ok but somewhat fell short of expectation.
Pros:

Good location for wandering around and could park the car safely in the car park outside. Room was cleaned every day nicely. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The room was spartan and soulless and the kitchen tools very poor with one blunt carving knife, no chopping board and no mugs until we asked for some. Although the room was large enough the shower cabinet was very small and the drains smelly. The 'sea view' was a laugh from the apartments and hotel would have been better but we could see the car park nicely!

Pros:

We really enjoed our stay in Marina di Petrolo. The apartament was very spacoius and had everything that we needed. The pool area with the hot tub is great. We would like to say special thank you to all the lovely staff working there. They were all very attentive and helped us organising buggy trip to Segesta and hot springs.

Marina di Petrolo is a gorgeous property, just a short walk away from the heart of Castellammare.
Pros:

Marina di Petrolo is a stunning property perched over the sea, made even better by its tranquil pool and hot tub area. The service was excellent, and the staff were all delightful and happy to answer any questions we had.

Cons:

There is a great deal of rubble and debris from decaying buildings in the back of the property, which made walking to the apartment from the reception area a bit challenging in summer shoes. The crumbled bricks all around were also a surprising sight right in back of this beautiful building. Fortunately, this is not seen from the front of the property, but I couldn't help but notice it.

Super lage, grosszügiges Apartment
Pros:

Wir hatten ein grosses Apartment im Erdgeschoss mit separatem Schlafzimmer. Das Apartment war sauber und die Küche gut ausgestattet. Die Lage und auch der Pool sind spektakulär.

Cons:

Das Sofa war bisschen zu klein und das sage ich als kleine zierliche Frau (158 cm). Die Beleuchtung im Wohnzimmer könnte gemütlicher sein.

La struttura è molto curata, sia all'interno che all'esterno, la posizione è ottima e la vista è bellissima.
La colazione è estremamente ricca e variegata, il personale sempre gentile e disponibile.

Tevreden.
Pros:

Fijne ruime accommodatie van alle gemakken voorzien. Vlakbij het strand, goed zwembad en gratis parkeren.

Cons:

Het grenst aan een weg waar ook ‘s nachts veel verkeer rijdt. Ook met de ramen dicht is dit vrij duidelijk te horen.

Outstanding staff, great breakfast, large studio apartment (except for the shower). The location is a pleasant stroll to the old town area.

Cons:

The bathroom and kitchen had a musty smell, perhaps due to the sea side location. The furnishing are also minimal.

Lovely apartment but basic no trips facilities staff not good glad don’t spend to stay in the hotel expected more for

no coffee in room
Staff not very friendly
Over looking car park
Left day early no one even asked if all ok
Breakfast added first day was not good
No tables no service no hot drinks available or offered all uncovered no choice just lots cakes €12 euro each with 3 of us not even eatting
Better coffee croissant down road for 3 euro

Un engaño
Pros:

La ubicación, la pileta y la vista desde la pileta.

Cons:

En primer lugar no es primera línea de playa, es un acantilado inaccesible al mar.
En segundo lugar una vez que acepte lo que muestran con fotos en Booking (una habitación de hotel con servicio de Spa) me envía Marina di Petrolo un mail diciendo que las fotos son orientativas y que los departamentos están en un edificio adyacente y nos tocó un departamento en segundo piso por escaleras, por lo que tuvimos que acarrear solos las maletas, de haber sabido esto no lo alquilaba porque tengo tres operaciones de columna.
Estas dos situaciones (adjunto fotos) resultan un completo engaño, más allá que el lugar sea muy lindo.
Para mí el servicio de departamento no vale lo que nos cobraron.

All perfect
Pros:

Everything was perfect. The hotel organized our transfer to and from the airport with car seats for our kids. Our apartment was clean and spacious; the breakfast room has a beautiful view and tons of food options; the property is clean and the staff is always pleasant and helpful. We had a wonderful stay!

Fabulous apartment/hotel in a great location
Pros:

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing week at the property. All the staff were lovely, helpful and friendly. The apartment was huge and very clean with daily cleaning and fresh towels if you wanted it. Pool area is very nice with fantastic views and the bar on site is an added bonus. The location of the apartments/hotel is great as you minutes away from loads of restaurants and the marina. Would highly recommend.

Cons:

A washing machine would have been great. The bathroom was huge but the shower cubicle was tiny (a missed opportunity I think).
