A hotel in a great location that looked fabulous, but was a bit of style over substance

Location, cool art, rooftop pool, free cartons of water, doormen and valets

Cons:

Style over substance, the rooms looked great but weren’t very practical (no chests of drawers, not enough hooks etc). The chairs around the pool were very stained and the pool towels too small. Reception staff not as friendly as other hotels I’ve stayed in Asia (with 1 or 2 exceptions)

Very modern new hotel with a trendy vibe. Well located.
Pros:

Convenient location to many restaurants and bars and hawker centre. Safe and trendy neighbourhood. Good place to stay if visiting SGH. Comfortable bed. Quiet room.

Cons:

The minibar prices and what was included was unclear. There was no sign or card. I had to ring to find out and was told to refer to the QR code next to the fridge. But I could not find any QR code.
The shower leaked water out of the recess due to the design.

Superbe hotel tres bien situe a Singapour !
Pros:

Accueil, personnel, dejeuner de qualité, emplacement a quelques metres du metro Maxwell dans quartier Chinois, chambre avec vue sur la ville, beaucoup de restaurants a promixite. Nous avons passe 5 nuits et nous y retournerons au prochain voyage.

.Stay in Singapore
Pros:

Loved the Central location.Within walking distance of China town.
Our room had a lovely view of the historic shop houses,and was very comfortable.
A very short taxi drive from all the sights eg the harbour,Gardens by the bay etc.

Cons:

On our last night's stay the hotel held an event which went on until 2am and we didn't sleep!
I complained to the Night Manager,Thankfully they extended our checkout time.
There was another event on the rooftop on Saturday 31st January in the afternoon.The Gazebo's,tables etc were reserved for the guests attending the event .
As a hotel guest I had no where to sit.As a paying guest I felt this was unfair.
The room lights were a nightmare to work out!Keep it simple.

Keine 5* und dafür viel zu teuer!
Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine fantastische Lage, viele kleine Lokale drumherum. Das Personal war ausnahmslos freundlich (erwartet man aber auch ;-). Der Dachpool mit Bar bietet herausragende Ausblicke! Da haben wir uns abends immer aufgehalten. Eine Happy hour gibt's auch. Dort steht auch immer kostenloses Wasser. Sauberkeit war in allen Bereichen gegeben. Check-In und Checkout gingen ratzfatz. Das Zimmer hatte eine angenehme Größe, aber das Bad war winzig.

Cons:

Das Hotel hat in unseren Augen keine 5*! Dafür ist alles etwas zu "klein":
Bad winzig,in der Dusche nichts zum Festhalten, Boden super glatt. Ließen uns Antirutschmatte geben.
Die Lobby ist keine Lobby, da stehen 3 kleine Sessel und die Counter zum Einschecken. Nirgendwo gibt's einen Platz zum Verweilen, wenn man ausgescheckt hat.
Frühstücksraum auch sehr klein mit extrem unbequemer Bestuhlung, in der man versinkt
Am Buffet gibt's zwar eine gute Auswahl, aber bei 5* erwarte ich mehr. Am letzten Abend gab es im ganzen Hotel kein Bier mehr, das ist ein Witz für solch ein Hotel.

Εξαιρετικά καλή επιλογή!
Pros:

Το ξενοδοχείο είναι πολύ ωραίο, προσεγμένο και σύγχρονο! Το δωμάτιο ήταν τέλειο άνετο και καθαρό! Υπάρχει rooftop με υπέροχη πισίνα και θέα στους ουρανοξύστες όπου μπορείς να απολαύσεις το κοκτέιλ σου! Το προσωπικό πολύ ευγενικό και πρόσχαρο! Τέλος η τοποθεσία κεντρική κοντά σε αρκετά σημεία ενδιαφέροντος!

Cons:

Χάνει ένα βαθμό γιατί κάθε φορά που κάναμε μπάνιο τα νερά έτρεχαν έξω απο την ντουζιέρα και γέμισε όλο το πάτωμα νερά. Η αναφορά γίνεται λόγω των 5 αστέρων.
