Fantastic location, but hotel itself has definitely some points for improvement.
Pros:

Really great location, in the Kampong Glam district next to many nice pubs and restaurants.

Cons:

Room design (dark and depressive), a lot of mold in the bathroom.

Pros:

Location is close to a lot of restaurant. Staffs are really nice and helpful. I love the bed, I rarely see a hostel with comfy beds and pillows, they even give you 2 pillows which is a nice touch. There is also free water provided.

Cons:

I think the lounge area is a bit dark and no kitchen. The locker is bit tricky to close and open, sometime it doesnt lock and the room is actually a bit tight.

Comfy bed, good sleep, really nice that you had to take off your shoes before entering the dorm. Location is ok, personnel very attentive

Pros:

Talking to Michael at the front desk of the hostel he said I could take a bus directly from Singapore! After a bit of an ordeal trying to book i finally asked for his help with booking and he helped tremendously!

A comfortable stay at Dream Chaser
Pros:

Dream Chaser is very comfortable. The air conditioning helps with the heat, the beds are comfortable with two pillows, rainfall showers, and the water dispenser provides hot and cold water. Front desk staff are helpful, holding luggage for you. You have a locking drawer controlled by your card key. Individual lighting and, a curtain allow you to go to bed and get up at different times with less issues.

Cons:

Despite reserving via credit card, payment is due when you book. That is not always the case with other lodgings.

Soggiorno fantastico!!!
Pros:

Assolutamente fantastico, posizione top, letti comodi, silenzioso, pulizia impeccabile, comoda stanza comune, acqua gratuita, lo staff sempre gentile e super disponibile!!! Lo consiglio vivamente!!!!

Cons:

Unica pecca non ci sono posate e microonde ma sono piccolezze! Lo consiglio!!!

Close to everything, a wonderfully aesthetic place to stay. A budget place without the budget feel.
Pros:

Loved the location. Felt instantly welcome.

Cons:

It would have been nice to have our own bathroom, but I wouldn't want to pay extra for it, and Singapore is expensive.

Very comfortable stay in Singapore
Pros:

The rooms and common spaces are super clean and neat. The beds are incredibly comfortable and there is everything you could need in your pod (fan, light, shelf, socket, hangers..). There is free hot and cold water. The bathrooms are seperated between men and women. The hostel is located close to Arab street. It is very close to plenty of bus stops and a 10-min walk to the closest MRT station (one of them being the very practical Downtown line and the other being the line getting you to the airport).

Cons:

The showers were clearly not thought out before installation, as you can’t open the shower door without destroying the shower head… The shower stalls themselves are very small, but it suffices. There is only all-in-one soap, and I believe the price would indulge having both shampoo and soap. There are no available utensils / reusable cups / plates etc (only disposable cardboard cups).
