Pros:

Absolutely awful. The apartment is in a residential block in terrible condition. Ceiling tiles broken. Groups hanging around the entrance. Strong smells of illegal substances. The room smelts of mold, had holes in the wall and a 1 inch gap between the balcony door and floor meaning a lovely draft all night. Reception isn't open 24 hours so couldn't check out and then to top it off they charged my card twice and disputed doing so. Avoid at all costs.

Scammers trying to fleece you
Pros:

Disgusting behaviour cancelling our booking with 5 weeks to go. Night of the oasis concert they obviously decided they could make more money than we had previously paid. Booking cancelled with no explanation but when you go on the booking.com website the apartment is still available for our dates. Obviously just out for as much money as they can- stay well clear no customer service whatsoever

FAKE PARKING PERMIT GIVEN - BOOKING.COM FULLY AWARE
Pros:

We made a one night reservation through booking.com at this property. When we received the confirmation we were advised that if we wanted to park we would need to request this with the property. We did so and were advised by the property that it would be a fee of £20 cash paid at check-in. Upon arriving we paid the £20 cash and were haded over a parking permit. On the permit it showed Valid Until, Permit No, Vehicle Reg which were blank. The property wrote the date, the property name and our registration beside each. The location on the permit showed Adelphi Wharf 1 and the property wrote "A" next to that. We parked the car and put the permit on the dash board in clear view.

Upon arriving home we received a letter from All Parking Service UK Ltd telling us they were fining us £100, reason being "NOT DISPLAYING A VALID PERMIT". We called All Parking Service and explained that we were guests booked through booking.com and had paid for parking and were giving the permit. However, All Parking Service told us that it was our responsibility. We went through the appeals proceedure and provided a photo of the permit which we still had and our booking details with booking.com. After several days we recieved their verdict telling us they were upholding the fine due to the permit being a photo copy and not the original!

We called the Adelphi Wharf and it just range out, emailed Beehosting who never responded so called booking.com and spoke to Nathan in Customer Services who called the property. Nathan said he spoke to Sergio the General Manager who advised him to tell us to call him directly which we did. It rang straight to voicemail. We left a message and our number but no response.

Last week we recieved another letter this time from ZZPS which is a debt collection agency telling us they were taking over and on top of the £100 an additional £70 admistration fee was added! We again called booking.com and spoke to Alexander who tried to call the property but he too could get no response. He then said booking.com would email the property and give them 5 days to respond and if no response booking.com would cover the cost and invoice the property.

We called today and spoke to booking.com and unfortunately the Customer Service Advisor was beyond unhelpful. Having put us on hold for a considerable he told us that he could not help as it was a "Government Fine". We advised that it was not but he kept repeating this. We asked to speak to a Supervisor and he said that was him so we asked for a Manager and were told no. Shockingly unhelpful and not interested even though booking.com were still selling this property. We then called back a second time and spoke to Nouvan. She was lovely BUT again told me that there was nothing that booking.com could/would do. Absolutely shocking that a Company as large as booking.com are unwilling to help a Customer being scammed by a property they are still advertising having booked through them in good faith.

We believe that what Alexander at booking.com said was true but has had a slap on the wrists for doing so as we are now being told to basically deal with it ourself with the property - even though we have said we have tried since January to speak to the property. We tried again today and once again the call was rejected.

Please do NOT book this property at all and if you do, do NOT park there. The permit they are giving you is fake. This has also happened to a lady called @Gill. F who has also left a review regarding this.

booking.com has let us, their customer, down badly by washing their hands of this and STILL advertising this property. Absoultly disgsusting.

Pros:

I booked this hotel as a surprise getaway for my boyfriend, and it was a complete disaster from start to finish. The room was absolutely filthy—there were cigarette burns all over the carpet, stains and marks on every wall, and the bathroom had visible mold. As someone with a lung condition, the mold and overall air quality in the room were genuinely dangerous and unacceptable.

To make matters worse, the heater didn’t work, so the room was freezing. When I approached the staff about the issues, they were completely unhelpful and dismissive. Not once did they try to accommodate or make the situation right.

One of the main reasons I booked this hotel was because every single picture showed a balcony, but when we got there—no balcony. Total false advertising.

I would never recommend this place to anyone. Save your money and stay somewhere that actually cares about cleanliness, guest health, and delivering on what they advertise.I’m

Pros:

We were happy with our stay. Basic but clean and very good value for money. We booked an appartment at the last minute as we had tickets to a game at Old Trafford. The 2.2 mile walk to the stadium might be a bit much for some but was fine for us. Although the building itself was a liitle run down, the appartment itself was clean and modern and a fraction of the prices I saw for other accomodation. Reception was friendly and welcoming and were kind enough to waive the usual deposit. 20 pound for parking (need to pay cash up front) is a bit steep, but we didn't have time to look into alternative options.

Pros:

In a great location. Spacious rooms but in need of decoration. Facilities in appartment were excellent with ecerything you could need including a dishwasher. Staff very helpful and friendly. Parking great but did cost £20 per night. Lift was out of order, stairs were not a problem for us but could well be for others.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Run by scam artists!
Pros:

Arrived and check in. So far good.
Informed I’m on 8th floor and lift doesn’t work. That’s okay though, not scared on a little cardio. On first inspection the apartment look clean and tidy. Sadly when hunting for new batteries for tv remote I discovered used condoms in the draw. TV didn’t work either. I was moved rooms but I suspect none of the rooms are cleaned to much of a standard. Checked out early the next morning tried to pay for parking but no one is there to speak with. I messaged via the hotel app and had no response. Now waiting for a £100 fine as parking permit was not displayed. Honestly don’t waste your money staying here, it’s run by dishonest people.

Horrible grotty residence.
Pros:

The description and pictures detailed on hotels.com do not reflect the unkempt, unclean cigarette butt strewn rubbish fly tipped residence we had to stay in. With holes in walls hairs in bed. Cheap flat pack furniture. Stained and cigarette burned carpets. Toilet and sink with mouldy splash backs, water damaged ceilings, the list is endless.

Great value and good skyline view at night
Pros:

Flat was lovely but i must admit i was surprised there were no trimmings at all like tea coffee sugar sachets or something.

Lift being out and both of us disabled being on the 7th floor was very hard but admittedly the very nice guy on the desk did warn us. Unfortunately it was late in the day and we didnt really have much choice but to grin and bear it. He did upgrade us to a flat with a balcony though which for smokers in thise circumstances, was an absolute life saver. His character generally made the whole place a lot more welcoming and alive.

Worst accomodation experience Ever!!! DO NOT BOOK!
Pros:

This was by far the worst accommodation I have ever booked. I paid a £150 deposit, only to arrive at 11 PM and discover that my assigned room was on the 8th floor—with no lift access!

I am pregnant, and despite explaining my situation, the staff refused to assist me in any way. The receptionist was extremely rude and dismissive, showing no concern for my condition. When I asked for a refund so I could find alternative accommodation, they refused, offering no solution whatsoever.

Even after I pleaded for help carrying my bags upstairs, they still refused. They would not change my room, assist with my luggage, or provide any support. As a result, I was left stranded at midnight with nowhere to go.

I had no choice but to leave at 12:20 AM and book another hotel. Absolutely unacceptable service—do not book here!

Bring plenty of cash!
Pros:

Very pleasant, modern and well equipped apartment with a nice view from the balcony across the river to a park yet only 20 minute walk from central Manchester.
Points to note: they require a large deposit against breakages and charge per night for the underground car park IN CASH rather than the usual credit card so bring plenty of cash with you (there’s an ATM right outside).
Also, you will need help to get out of the car park which, on a Sunday morning is not easy to find!

Traumatic disastrous experience
Pros:

I am disgusted with the full experience I went here to relax after a stressful few months and grieving a lost loved one in a room that door handles was broken also I had to pay £150 deposit at 5he desk when I arrived which was then reduced to £110 because I was one hour late checking out. I was also told I will have to wait 50 days for my deposit back. It was terrible. The staff was not professional at all

Bad parking permit
Pros:

The apartment was ok but be warned that you are given a parking permit that is not valid so in January I received a parking fine I appealed this but I lost as they said the parking permit was a photo copy so if you stay here be prepared to get a fine which I now have to pay

Pros:

Accommodation was “tired”, public spaces dirty, parking requires cash to be paid on check in with no receipt issued. A deposit is taken on your card which is not returned for several weeks.
