موقع الفندق
My stay was perfect. I will book this hotel anytime I travel back to Doha. Clean rooms, gorgeous lobby, great team, very quiet, and perfect for those traveling for work. Pet friendly!! Please do consider celebrating your pet's birthday here.
Thank you, Ashraf, for being so thoughtful and helpful (and thank you, everyone else!)
Nothing to complain about. This hotel exceeded my expectations.
Clean and the location

We originally booked Abesq for just 3–4 nights, but due to the airspace closures our stay was extended multiple times (including under the Qatar Tourism circular), and we ended up staying for over two weeks. Because of this, we feel we’re in a very good position to leave a detailed and fair review.
First and foremost, the service throughout the hotel was exceptional. A special mention to Abir at reception, who welcomed us warmly at check-in and, by coincidence, was also there early in the morning at 7 a.m. when we checked out — consistently professional and helpful.
The breakfast experience was outstanding and truly one of the highlights of our stay.
Special thanks to Daine, who made some of the best coffees we’ve had across many hotels and restaurants in Doha (including oat milk and decaf options).
Also to Elias (from Morocco), who got our order — poached eggs on hash browns — perfect every single morning, with exceptional service.
We cannot recommend the breakfast team enough — they genuinely made our stay fantastic.
Housekeeping was very good — the room, sheets, towels, carpets, and overall cleanliness were consistently maintained to a high standard. Even though we usually avoid carpeted spaces, the cleanliness here was excellent.
We also enjoyed:
The pool area and children’s pool (before it was closed due to the airspace situation)
The yoga room, which was a comfortable space for us as a family
The spa staff, who were very friendly and welcoming
The library/mezzanine area, a great place to relax (especially the swing-style chairs)
The walkway between the hotel and residences, and the seating areas around the pool
Despite being in a busy part of the city, the hotel feels calm and well-designed.
The valet team was also excellent — especially one gentleman from Sudan who was incredibly kind, supportive, and accommodating during the stressful period of travel disruptions.
There were a few minor issues:
Housekeeping was good overall, but toilet paper was consistently insufficient, and we had to request it multiple times.
One staff member at reception, Achraf, was not familiar with the billing/invoice requirements we needed (company invoice), which led to an unpleasant interaction initially. This was later resolved by another team member, but better training in this area would help.
Given the length of our stay (over two weeks), it would have been appreciated if an upgrade to a larger room had been considered, especially as we were traveling with a pregnant partner and a young child.
Based on our understanding of the rates being applied during this period, it seemed that a larger unit may have been feasible, but this was not explored despite our request.
The pool closure (understandable given the situation) did impact the experience, particularly for families with children.
The room is equipped with a cooler rather than a proper fridge, which is not practical for extended stays, especially for families.
