It was not what was advertised. It was ment to be deluxe sea views but you could go on the balcony as it had wire across it. The view was an lot with junk in it. The bathroom had mold as the kitchen and the beds had loud plastic under rhe sheets that were not white.
The door didnt lock well either. We didnt stay we left the property.

Did not use their Wifi, but it was all good

YatuLau ist stadtnah und daher praktisch um in Suva Angelegenheiten zu erledigen - nicht mehr und nicht weniger! Kein Hotel um Urlaub zu machen.

We checked in for 3 days, upon arrival we were greeted by very friendly staff. We got our card and we’re given directions where to go. We asked then made it to our room. The door handle to the room was broken, just hanging there. Then we called and told reception. We were given another room on the far end of the hotel so we headed there. Went in looked like the room hadn’t been used for long time, con webs, dirty pillows and bedsheets stained. Went to open the curtains out pops a huge lizard. So we went back to reception and had the room changed again. This time staff checked the room before we went in. Room was ok. We got a room with a view but couldn’t open the doors properly as the bed was blocking part of it.
Night time was horrible hardly got any sleep. Music from neighbours, dogs barking all night and people on the street yelling and to top it of the noise from the wharf. The hotel is next to residential area and these people put the music on early in the morning. Breakfast was included in our package but there was no menu. For $20 bread same fruit eggs toast tea coffee. And if you’re vegan then toast.
For what we paid I didn’t expect 5 stars but at least a clean room and no lizards.
Won’t be going back anytime soon.

Not a great part of Suva, but ok if using Taxis to get around. Overall it was good, the first morning the breakfast staff didnt show up the the other days they were late, this was unfortunate.

Rundown and unclean property

Housekeeping never cleaned the room even once during the 5 night stay. Towels and beddings were filthy. No toilet paper someone said it was out of stock. Wi-Fi never worked for us. And I requested late check out but kept getting calls to hurry and check out.

The Deluxe room was really dirty, Double bed has bedbugs also Sofa cushions was dirty, to be honest it just like they pick it up from the rubbish dump,
there was no proper linens & not even a door mat inside the bathroom & toilet. Not gonna go back

Excellent for this price

YatuLau ist okay für kurze Aufenthalte um Angelegenheiten in Suva zu erledigen - praktisch ist vor allem die stadtnahe Lage.

It would be excellent if the bushes were cleaned up so the ocean can be in view.

loud noise from house parties, pool wasn’t even clean

The property & staff are/where totally awesome

My major concern was with Expedia their date change policy changes after only 5 minutes of booking is outrageous. The cost to change dates way more than the room cost per night. I’ll never book with Expedia again

Bathroom wasnt clean mold around shower and shower head constantly leaking apart from that it was great kind of a deal breaker it doeant take much to clean a bathroom if they do that then 5 stars
