Yatu Lau Lagoon Resort

The entire stay was so enjoyable.! everyone was so very friendly and attentive.
I will stay here again soon, i hope. met many friends that i already miss.

This property is dated by thats not the problem the toilet leaked and was reported but wasnt fixed so we checked out early
The pool was out of use for 2 days
There was no light in the room
The ceiling fan had mold on it so it hadnt been cleaned fir months same as the bathroom which was very outdated but also had minimal cleaning with mouldy grout and mouldy shower curtain
I know it was a fairly cheap hotel but ive stayed in hostels cleaner

Great Stay !

Lovely quiet resort for what we needed it for, very big rooms, bathroom needs a lot of upgrading. Food was cheap and tasty esp locally grown fruits was delicious for breakfast.

Accommodation was excellent and reception staff we also excellent. Few staff in the Dining area were not very friendly.

Also the bathroom shower may need to be looked at as the water from the shower head was going everywhere.

There was not really much care for the customer

This place needs to be demolished. Broken lamps, dirty, and moldy. No dining. Tables were covered with dirty sheets. Do your research before booking at this place.

The hotel is isolated and very quiet at night, nothing around except some private properties. The beach is about 2km away, it's walkable with some ups and downs.

The whole property is in very bad state, everything is pretty much rundown and worn-out, broken furniture, toilet is not very clean & broken, and a terrible shower head with little water gets out etc... except the TV seems new in the room. The swimming pool has a lot of missing tiles, and four broken sunbeds around the pool for the whole resort. But the view to the Lagoon is quite peaceful.

The ONLY good thing is the breakfast. They offer set breakfast menu served by the waiters instead of open buffet, which we prefer. Everyday has slight changes in the bread, fruit, pastry and you can choose the way of how eggs to be made (except making an omelet with a extra charge). Also, the on-site restaurant offers decent lunch & dinner with good portions at very reasonable prices.

The staffs are pretty nice in general, helping with the luggage since there is no elevator for upper floor rooms.

very old building and needs a lot of upkeeping but the grounds are beautiful and just like the photoes on site. People are very friendly and cant do enough to help.

For me it was convenient because I went scuba-diving place was my room okay? Bit old stuff very friendly that’s it.

Staff were very kind and supportive. Very calm and peaceful.

We left a day earlier. Food first night was excellent then it went down hill afterwards. Lack of information about the area from the staff. Rooms large but bath stained and chipped.Breakfast was terrible. No food left on Sunday morning with an hour before closing. No orange juice or menu. TVs don't work.... complained 4 times. Another couple also staying 3 nights had the same issue. No-one bothered to tell us they didn't work. If you want to visit Pacific harbour stay at the pearl resort. Pool and setting was lovely but hotel very run down and staff although pleasent had no idea what they were doing.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, only thing I would suggest is to offer cleaning service maybe every twice a day.

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. Breakfast was excellent and more than we could eat. Food in the restaurant is good and reasonably priced. The room was spacious and comfortable and the wifi and AC worked very well. It as a short walk to the beach and shops, but a taxi only costs 4 Fijian dollars. The only negative is that the room wasn’t particularly clean and the cleaning schedule was a bit lax. Also, the pool was a bit murky. Overall, for the price we paid we were happy with the accommodation and the wonderful staff even sang us the traditional Fijian farewell song on our departure.
