Pros:

The staff was caring and accomidating. The location was in a good area, and there were good restaurants near. The place was very comfortable, clean and picturesque.

Pros:

The rooms and general accommodation were fantastic. Google maps send you to the wrong location. Follow the street address and you will arrive at the gate. there is no sign at the front you need to ring the bell for access

Pros:

The host was amazing and was able to resolve my check-in process after the initial hassle. The room was clean and I had no problems or complaints.I would stay again if I found myself back in Maputo

Oasis in the City
Pros:

We where so warmly welcomed and felt at home right away. Our initial plan was to stay only a few days since we had other plans traveling around but we had to come back and stay at Papaya every time we returned to Maputo. Now we don’t even have to look for anything else. This hotel is a given for any future visits. Even our local friends were positivley surprised when we shared our experiences of this loving little Oasis.
U get soap, shampoo and some lotion in your room and there is a self service fridge stocked w necessities- beer, coke, water. There is a small fridge in room and a shared kitchenette for basic food preparation. The pool area is super nice and relaxing!

Amazing! The property is beautiful, room is well appointed and clean and fresh, the pool is stunning, the place is walkable to all areas of the city, safe neighbourhood, restaurants very close, wifi and air conditioning in the room, service staff are very helpful. The owners made me feel like I was at home and they helpful with suggestions and travel tips and were so friendly! I recommend to stay here and I will be back!

This place is amazing. I recommend it to you. Great location where you can go to the center of the city and beaches. The owner is beyond kindness and helpful. The room is like a five star hotel. Anything you need, they are there to help you. They accept credit cards and cash. Recommend this place 100%
