Staff muito simpático e prestável. O restaurante no hotel é incrível, com muito boa comida e é bastante rápido no serviço. Quartos grandes muito confortáveis. Localização perfeita.

Maintain this once a beautiful property!
Pros:

Locaction is excellent. Staff was accommodating and friendly. The design concept of the hotel is A+. Public areas are clean.

Cons:

The hotel is showing.a great deal of wear and tear. This hotel must be kept up in order to be successful. General maintenance is a must. Ouril Hotel is a sense of pride in SV. Take a good look at the shower in room 318 to start, then take a look at the walls - they need to be repainted. This is maintenance 101. Not difficult! Mat in exercise room, torn. Tiles missing in places. Large swabs of paint missing from walls outside of breakfast buffet. I could go on and on. The owners must implement standards for their hotel. Show your property some love! Create a maintenance plan and act on it, or in a very short time this hotel will be a "has been", which will be very, very sad. Charge a small fee for breakfast to help pay for repairs, perhaps?

Bonne localisation et restaurant bon (le service pouvait être assez long).

Cons:

La salle de bains n’était pas très propre. Les photos ne reflètent pas vraiment l’hôtel. La piscine sur le toit par exemple est très petite.
Hotel bien situé mais cher par rapport aux prestations.

A good hotel in the city
Pros:

Ouril is a beautiful and modern hotel that is very well-positioned. We stayed there 2 days to visit Mindelo right before going to Santo Antao. It was practical as it was truly a few steps away from the port.

It was also great to go to the beach Praia Da Laginha. You can go to all the important landmarks on foot from there. The rooms are quite nice, there are a lot of amenities, and their restaurant is also very good.

Cons:

However, compared to other hotels in Cabo Verde, I would say that the service was not at the level I expected. The staff didn't really go out of their way to create the warm environment and hospitality we were able to find throughout our trip at other places. We had challenges to have answers to some questions or advice.

For me, it was a good hotel for a short stay, but maybe not for a longer stay. But for those looking for a more modern look above all, it is a good choice.
