Pros:

L'emplacement. Près du centre, de la plage, du port pour prendre le ferry. Bon matelas du lit.

Cons:

La chambre vue sur la mer OK mais beaucoup trop bruyantes. La piscine du rez-de-chaussée, trop froide, peu ensoleillée car au milieu du building et celle sur le toit n'est pas vraiment une piscine et peu de transats (sans coussin) et très peu de place car il y a les tables du petit déjeuner. Les couloirs on dirait des couloirs d'hôpitaux et qui résonnent très fort. Au petit déjeuner, les plats chauds sont froids. Oubli du refill des capsules café et du papier toilette dans la chambre. Il fallait chaque fois demander à la réception. 3 soirs, four en panne et du coup très peu de plats disponibles sur la carte. Les photos sur le site spnt trompeuses. Mauvais rapport qualité prix. Très déçue. Heureusement, en dehors de l'hôtel chouette voyage.

Hotel op ideale locatie van de ferry, grote kamers met comfortabele bedden.
Pros:

Het hotel is ideaal als je vanaf Santo Antao komt (of daar naartoe wilt), je loopt binnen 5 minuten naar de ferry. De kamers zijn mooi groot en voorzien van airconditioning. Het ontbijt is erg uitgebreid en wordt geserveerd op de 6e verdieping -waar zich ook het zwembad bevindt-, waar je prachtig uitzicht hebt op de haven. Het is een mooi hotel, de bedden liggen erg lekker. Eigenlijk zou ik het hotel alleen een 9 geven, maar gezien onze slechte ervaring met het personeel in het restaurant, is het een 7 geworden.

Cons:

De douche in onze kamer werd niet warm en de voegen waren beschimmeld. Wat het meeste tegenviel was het personeel in het restaurant. Geen goedenavond, glimlach of eet smakelijk kon er vanaf. Daarnaast was het erg rustig toen wij kwamen eten, en vier man personeel stond ons letterlijk aan te staren terwijl we aan het eten waren. Mijn vriend legde één tel zijn bestek neer en ze wilden onze borden al meenemen, terwijl hij nog niet klaar was met eten. Toen hij dit aangaf, lachte de serveerster (ons uit?) en zei verder niks. Er was één serveerster die Engels sprak, die was wel klantvriendelijk. De rest van het personeel sprak ook niet voldoende Engels om bepaalde gerechten uit te leggen. Daarnaast wist het personeel van de receptie niet hoe lang het rijden was naar het vliegveld, toen we vroegen of ze een taxi voor ons konden regelen en werd ons geadviseerd 3 uur van te voren op het vliegveld te zijn. Gelukkig hebben we dat niet gedaan, want het is een klein vliegveld en het inleveren van de bagage en security check duurt niet zo lang.

A beautiful stay
Pros:

The room we were in had a beautiful view, location is perfect. Nice breakfast. The city beach is nearby. Felt really safe and staff was so nice

Cons:

The taxi pick up arrangement from the airport never showed up, but they made up for it. Other than that it was a lovely hotel.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt, sehr zentral gelegen
Pros:

Sehr gut gelegenes Hotel für Ausflüge in die Umgebung und zum Hafen. Wenige Minuten ins Stadtzentrum. Tolle Dachterrasse zum Frühstücken mit Pool. Auch der Strand ist in wenigen Minuten erreichbar.

Great place overall
Pros:

Location is perfect and we got a room overlooking the sea which is well worth the extra. The staff were great, the restaurant was good, the pool area was nice, the room was good quality and clean.

Cons:

There were a number of minor points. The pool while still nice has a number of broken or missing small tiles and so looked like it needed a bit of maintenance. We apparently were supposed to have pool towels in our room but they were missing and on the first day using the pool we were incorrectly told that we had to hire from reception. The pool area had a bar section but one day it just closed really early with no explanation and another day the pool area was closed off for a private function between 1 & 3. The base of the shower was marble which looked amazing but got very slippery when wet - an option of something to put on the floor of the shower to prevent a slip would have been good.
