Very good location, clean
Отель без излишеств. Подходит для целей переночевать и позавтракать. Главное чисто! Отличные завтраки! Хороший отель за свои деньги!
I am not a real fan of the Kyrgyz breakfast, but this breakfast was relatively good with yoghurt and cereals, fresh fruit and, in general, more variety than I have found elsewhere in Kyrgyzstan. The bed was good too and the location is good. There was a laundry service, but that was really expensive. It is difficult to find laundry service in the city, strangely enough.
The bathroom was a little disappointing. I am 1,88 meter and the shower head came to my chin. No soap of shampoo in the shower (or at least the dispenser wasn't working).
Very central location, very friendly staff, big and fairly comfortable bed.
The sheets were so old (but clean!) that they were ripped in multiple places. Shower head was broken and sprayed most water elsewhere than on your head.
The hotel is located on a main street and very noisy traffic.
Breakfast had a variety of choice, but the food wasn’t cooled where necessary and not replenished. If you arrive half an hour before they finish there is not a lot left.
good restaurant
a little bit overprised
Location, view, friendly staff
Bad solution in bathroom, no fresh bread for breakfast
Central location and friendly staff. Good and plentiful breakfast with nice views over Bishkek.
This hotel was really disappointing. It is expensive for Kyrg standards but does not deliver anything for the price. It costs even more than European hotels which given the quality is outrageous. The rooms are so worn and dirty. Our sheets had rips in them and the carpet looked very outdated. The bathroom had a sewage smell in it. The room was also quite small. The pictures make it look like a luxury/comfortable hotel, which we wanted after a long weekend horse trekking but it was no better than an ibis/travelodge.
Great location and let us check in earlier
Wasn’t the cleanest and strange water pipe noises at night
Nothing
I chose Orient Hotel specifically because it advertised complimentary access to its sauna, hammam, salt room and gym. I paid a premium price precisely so I could relax after several days of hiking.
Only after arriving was I told that the spa facilities and gym were out of service. No warning was provided before check-in. When I politely requested a discount or even a small gesture of goodwill, the receptionist was rude and dismissive. She initially tried to claim that my room did not include access to the facilities, even though the hotel’s own website and description on booking . Com states that spa and gym access is included in the accommodation price.
I asked to speak to the manager, but her response was even worse. There was no apology, no attempt to find a solution and no compensation. Instead, I was simply told that if I did not like it, I could go to another hotel.
This was late on a Sunday evening, immediately before a public holiday, during the World Nomad Games and an international summit, when hotels across Bishkek were fully booked. Suggesting that a guest should simply leave under those circumstances was insulting and completely unrealistic.
Facilities can occasionally break, but the complete lack of advance notice, accountability, empathy and basic customer service is inexcusable. This was the worst hotel experience of my trip to Kyrgyzstan, and I cannot recommend this hotel.
This hotel is in a perfect spot to stay in Bishkek. Many options for restaurants, nearby locations and museums etc super close by. Hotel rooms were a great size and cleaning was always superb. Breakfast was really good and such great views of city and mountains from the 10th floor. Really enjoyed our stay here. I had an amazing view of the main flag from my room - illuminated at night it was spectacular.
A bathroom in one of our rooms had a broken shower head which made it difficult to shower/wash hair.
