Awesome overnight stay.
Pros:

The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was great. The location was good for our travels. The staff was friendly and the facilities were clean.

We will definitely stay at his hotel again when we visit relatives in Rhinelander.
Pros:

The breakfast was tasty and included a variety of foods. I have an allergy to soy/soybean oil and I appreciated that some of the foods available were soy free.

Cons:

We were satisfied. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and the scenic outdoor area.

Cons:

Both lights in our bathroom didn’t work when we woke up in the morning. Not sure if we turned off a main room switch somewhere, but they wouldn’t turn on

Cleanliness and secor.

Cons:

A lot of things out of order. For a property that is only about a year old, this should not be happening. One coffee machine, the pancake machine, etc. Very poor sound insulation. Something was seriously wrong with my shower door as it wouldn’t stay closed.
One lady at front desk had a real snotty attitude.

Being unfamiliar with the territory I got lost twice wandering around Rhinelander.. hahaha
Pros:

The breakfast was very good, nice variety.. cinnamon rolls were excellent!! the facilities were beautiful.

Cons:

We had prepaid for our stay.. the young lady that checked us in , ran my card again for an additional $350 .. it was taken off at check out but it might be a training issue..

Cons:

Holiday Inn did not honor the amount I accepted for the stay when I booked four nights through Booking.com. Unfortunately I did not learn about this discrepancy until checkout. I was charged well over the contracted price I had accepted with the third party (Booking.com). Their explanation was the third party is only an estimate and does not include all charges. It felt like a bait and switch as they got me to their establishment with the third parties price but charged me whatever they wanted upon checkout. This information was not explained at check in.

Excellent clean well put together hotel.
Pros:

It was a very clean and well put together hotel. A high end hotel feel and a more affordable price. Excellent amenities and breakfast. Staff did an excellent job at everything.

Cons:

needed a little more parking space for people pulling a boat. But we did ok by parking where the semi truck parked.
