Great stay! Ready to go back again!
Pros:

I was scheduled for surgery at Novant in Kernersville & this location was fantastic, a straight shot down the road. And several restaurants nearby for convenience. As you walked into the lobby, you knew this was special. The air was scented & the decor was fresh & beautiful. Luggage racks were available. The elevators were spacious. And there was an ice machine well-placed in that area.
Beautiful room, very clean & modern with a small nightlight Loved the surround-back-lighted mirror in the bathroom! Great shower, lots of pressure & they provided wall-mounted Dove brand shampoo, conditioner, lotion, & hand soap. The beds were firm & comfortable. Wonderful, abundant pillows! I slept really good, which is unusual for me in hotels. Beautiful geometric light-blocking blind over the window with an optional shear blind, too. Room temp was adjusted easily. There were several smaller light options. The desk chair was modern & very comfy. There was a corner chair with its own light for reading. There were also 2 soft foot cubes for prop your feet up & a bedside outlet/phone charging station. Loads of TV options, too.
My husband enjoyed the free breakfast included in the room rate (I wasn't allowed food that morning of surgery) & said it was the best hotel breakfast he ever had! So many options!
Overall, a great overnight stay for us! We would love to stay here again. And the cute hand-painted rocks spaced here & there around the outside of the building gave a nice homey feel to the place.

Cons:

The scented lobby was nice, but a bit overwhelming to the nose if you have any nasal sensitivity.
The lights in bathroom were really bright for nighttime use. Would have liked an option for less light in there, maybe the 2 lights being programmed to 2 toggles individually.
Bed was a bit high to get into. I'm 5'6" & I couldn't sit easily on the edge of the bed. My knees are arthritic, so climbing in wasn't feasible. A small stepstool would have been a nice option.
The pool was not available for use (September) & the temperature was 88° that day! Very unseasonal weather that week.

not worth the high price at all
Pros:

Room size and tv size were good. Pillows were nice.

Cons:

I travel quite a bit and felt like I paid 3x what the room was worth. Very noisy place. Can hear doors slamming nonstop, every loud step of people walking above on second floor, low quality breakfast, tv constantly glitching out, and even the toilet paper felt like newspaper.

It was ok, not the standard I’d expect from Holiday Inn, especially a new hotel.

Kept having issues accessing my room. Had to have multiple keys made which continued to fail. Tv in room didn’t work either.
