Long windy walk up past poorly maintained stairs and hallways to a room that was also poorly maintained- cracks in walls and marks on walls. Kettle didn’t work also.

Mi experiencia en Padi Village fue un poco decepcionante, sobre todo por la habitación.

Había reservado una habitación doble porque ya no quedaban villas. La habitación me pareció bastante pequeña y, sobre todo, con una limpieza mejorable. No me refiero únicamente a la habitación en sí: en las escaleras, el pasillo y en diferentes rincones (como los bordes de las puertas, la ducha o el balcón) se nota que la limpieza no es todo lo profunda que debería.

Si buscas un sitio para salir del paso, pasar una noche y continuar el viaje, puede estar bien. Pero si tu intención es quedarte varios días y disfrutar del alojamiento, personalmente buscaría otra opción.

El desayuno tampoco me pareció que estuviera a la altura y hay que tener en cuenta que el acceso al gimnasio no está incluido, algo que me parece importante saber antes de reservar.

Lo que sí quiero destacar es el personal, que fue amable en general, el trato fue muy bueno.

No me gusta dejar valoraciones negativas, pero creo que también es importante contar la experiencia tal y como es.

The staff were extremely rude, unprofessional, and largely unhelpful. Several of the staff members I dealt with did not speak sufficient English to communicate effectively, which made even simple issues unnecessarily frustrating. The Wi-Fi was also unreliable and frequently did not work properly.

What was particularly unacceptable was their deposit policy. They collected a deposit of IDR 400,000 and then appeared to look for trivial reasons to deduct money from it. In my case, they deducted IDR 100,000 claiming that a pillow cover had a very faint stain. I have no way of knowing whether this stain was already there before I checked in, and even assuming it occurred during my stay, it appeared to be nothing more than an ordinary washable mark that should come out during normal laundering.

Charging a guest IDR 100,000 for something so minor is completely unreasonable and feels more like an attempt to retain part of the deposit than a genuine damage charge. What made the experience even worse was the manager’s attitude when I questioned it. Instead of addressing the concern professionally, the manager spoke to me loudly, rudely, and in an intimidating manner.

I found the entire experience extremely disappointing. Poor communication, unreliable facilities, questionable deposit deductions, and an unnecessarily confrontational attitude from management are simply not acceptable in hospitality. I would strongly advise future guests to be very careful about the deposit and to photograph every item in the room at check-in to avoid being charged for pre-existing or completely trivial issues.

Unfortunately I came down with Bali belly and it was the day I ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant :/
