Metro Art Hotel

This is a beautiful hotel. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was very clean. The room was extra large. The room was well decorated. The only small hiccup was the water pressure in the shower was low. My overall stay I’ll give a nine out of 10. That’s only because the water pressure was low in the shower. I will definitely come back to this hotel anytime I’m in Puerto Rico. This is my number one hotel to stay at. Awesome stay awesome hotel and awesome staff.

Found this hotel on Hoyels.com, found it to be exactly as discribed. This is not a big hotel, tht lobby and hallways amall but the room we stayed in was large,comfortable & up-to-date. Wifi was free and good. This location is right on a busy street with restaruants & stores right next to the hotel. Dispite being on a busy street our room was quiet. King bed was very comfortable. Parking was supprisingly easy. The hotel provide a pass to a nearby parking garage for $20.00 a day but we never had to use it, parking on the street close by was easy.
When we return to Puerto Rice we will make this hotel our first choise. Would not recomend it for families ith young children, it is an urban invrioment

Great Stay for the Bad Bunny Concert!
We stayed here while in town for the Bad Bunny concert and couldn’t have picked a better location, close to great eateries, local shops, and just a short walk to La Placita. The room was a great size, very comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a long day out. The front desk staff were super helpful with recommendations and anything we needed during our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel has horrible water pressure and the water was not hot during our stay. My room had a broken refrigerator and did not have an iron. Staff told me they couldn’t do anything about the refrigerator. Overall the room was somewhat dirty but not too bad. The front desk staff was so that was a plus.


The neighborhood the hotel is located is full of homeless people and very dangerous. Not safe to walk around at night

Staff was helpful and friendly, lobby area can be improved. Conveniently located, nice park across from hotel not yet seen on google maps. Nice room!

When they make the bed they don’t change the sheets…that was my only problem with cleanliness

The design is cute but unfortunately my room was dirty. Specifically the floors. When I politely asked for the cleaning team to clean the floor, they simply did not. The smell of mildew is also very very strong. The building is in a good area with restaurants and a park and the hotel has a rooftop and coffee machine/water. That was cool but my allergies were getting the best of me in that room and honestly, other people were experiencing the same; sneezing and coughing in the hallway. Nice looking building and design, but sadly not well kept.

I like that it was walking distance to Bellas Artes…the staff was most helpful

The Metro Art Hotel was a lovely oasis in San Juan. Affordability was of high importance but I didn’t want that to mean substandard accommodations. While the entry to the hotel is nothing to speak of, the staff, whether greeting us on our arrival at midnight or during the day, was wonderful. Friendly and very helpful. The WOW factor when we entered our room was huge. Bright and clean, our 2 queen room had a high ceiling, big windows, comfy beds, and a beautiful modern bathroom and shower. The room and bathroom were spacious. The TV was huge. Nice to have two big mirrors and the sink outside the bathroom when traveling with two teen girls. The area is nice wit a beautiful park across the street, nice restaurants within steps, and a 24 hour grocery store within a five minute walk. The girls enjoyed the two rooftop hot tubs! I will definitely recommend this hotel to others.

the staff was kind and very helpful. the areas on the 7th floor needs some vamping as the area with the bar was not giving. it looked like a storage area but if they make it available to the guess, and utilize the bar area, you will have a nice gathering on site. also I disliked that there was no microwave in the rooms
