Die Halfenstube ist zwar ein gutes Hotel, lässt aber den typischen Verwöhncharakter vermissen.
Pros:

Zimmer, Wellnessbereich (Pool) waren wirklich sehr gut. Frühstück ist gut - man ist bemüht das Büffet aufzufüllen. Evtl. würde eine dritte Kaffeemaschine Sinn machen.

Cons:

Der Empfang war leider sehr unterkühlt und nicht so herzlich, wie man es von der Mosel gewohnt ist. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis im Restaurant stimmte für uns nicht. Das Essen (wir hatten Schnitzel und Zander) war zwar okay, stand aber in keinem Verhältnis zum Preis. Da wir ohnehin nur mit Frühstück gebucht hatten, sind wir am zweiten Abend nach Ediger ins Weingut Borchert ausgewichen – sehr zu empfehlen!

Was allerdings nicht nur bei uns, sondern bei vielen Gästen für absolutes Unverständnis sorgte: An einem herrlichen Sommerabend bei 27 Grad wurde auf der Terrasse bereits um 21:30 Uhr die letzte Runde eingeläutet. Viele Gäste kamen gerade vom Spaziergang zurück und hätten gerne noch ein Glas Wein getrunken. Zwei Paare sind sogar sichtlich verärgert mit dem Auto in den Nachbarort gefahren. Ein Paar ist zur Tanke gefahren. (Das Hotel hat 4 Sterne!)
Nachdem ich meinen Unmut deutlich geäußert hatte, bekamen wir um 21:40 Uhr immerhin noch ein Getränk – danke dafür.

Da es in Senheim kaum Alternativen zum Verweilen gibt, ist das besonders schade. Die Halfenstube ist zwar ein gutes Hotel, lässt aber den typischen Wohlfühl- und Verwöhncharakter vermissen, den man an der Mosel sucht.

Schönes Wellnesshotel mit Pool
Pros:

Der beheizte Aussenpool, die tollen Zimmer mit Klimaanlage in der Villa, die direkte Lage an der Mosel. Das Menü mit Weinbegleitung war ausgezeichnet.

Cons:

Verkauf von Wein außerhalb des Restaurant Betriebs erfolgt zu Restaurant Preisen- das habe ich in einer Weinbauregion noch nicht erlebt und ist auch nicht gerechtfertigt.

Zu wenige Sonnenschirme am Pool, alle belegt, deshalb auf Schwimmen verzichtet !

Een goed hotel met een in het restaurant verkrijgbaar fenomenaal vijf gangen menu.
Pros:

Het buitenzwembad, het restaurant, airco op de kamer en de ligging aan de Moezel.

Cons:

Om 21.45 uur de laatste ronde van het terras.
