Even after informing the staff that I needed a room with a working geyser, I was allotted a room on the 3rd floor where the geyser was not functioning (please refer to the screenshot). It is hard to believe that the staff was unaware that the geyser was disconnected.
As an alternative, the staff offered a coil heater, which is unsafe to use. Although I asked for it, it was provided only after repeated requests. Worse still, the staff did not answer calls at all—I had to go down to the reception every time I needed assistance.
At the time of check-in, I was told that the lift would start working within 30 minutes, but it never worked. This entire experience feels misleading. What exactly am I paying for when half the promised services are not functional, yet I am charged 100%? The hotel entrance is also awful, plz see the screenshots attached.
Is OYO merely an online booking platform, or does it assure the services promised by its hotels? How OYO compensates if the hotel fails to provide committed services. Based on this experience, it appears that customers are being scammed.

It is very unfortunate for us that we could not stay in this hotel due to the worst rooms given. The rooms had dirty beds and bathrooms, totally contradictory to the posted pictures by Oyo in Booking.com site. We did not stay there for even one night though I had booked for three nights and Oyo had collected 50% payment before we arrived, saying busy schedule and also asked for rest of payment during check in itself. No other hotel experience through Booking.com in this trip was this contradictory.
We had reached late in the night of 31st Dec with prior notice to the hotel and still had to find another place in that late hour as it was that poor. I was with my family with old parents and kid, this was an experience I never wanted to have in a travel.
To also add, hotel price was same or more than some of the better hotels in other cities and even in Hyderabad. It is an absolute experience of being cheated.
I would like complete refund of the 50% advance payment I was forced to make before check in, beyond the rules of Booking.com.
I have informed the same feedback to Oyo over call, and raising it here with Booking.com as this was the platform where we booked through. I am sure this feedback will help Booking.com to choose right hotels to partner with or post right pictures. Hope we can conclude it amicably with the refund being processed.
