The location of the hotel is good and central to most sites and very accessible.
The air conditioning did not work the first night and we had to shift to a new room the following day.
Fantastic location in a safe neighbourhood with great places to eat and drink just a short rickshaw ride away. Comfortable rooms, nice decor and nice extra touches in the lobby like free coffee and vending machine. Overall good value for money.
The breakfast was a bit lacking in choice and quality - also wasnt available until quite late in the morning. And the free coffee machine was often out of action. Rooms also a tad small and sometimes had a weird smell.
There was a concerning incident whereby a male member of staff opened our room whilst we were inside. He was trying to help another guest but had got the room number wrong. We spoke to the general manager who took the incident very seriously and refunded us one night’s stay. However… he also promised to upgrade us for the rest of our stay - without checking if there was availability to do so. There wasn’t so he quietly changed the offer to just upgrading for one night which was disappointing and short sighted. He was also quick to blame the staff member and not their own hotel protocols (master keys should be used sparingly)

Lift is not comfortable and not like a hotel it is more like a House lift so it is quite uncomfortable.
Also due to booking.com mistake only one breakfast was booked and i had to pay 465 rupees every day for my mother for breakfast which was disappointing

I had immediately informed the reception and guard asked us to move to alternate room 308
It was 10pm at night and the room we were allocated was not properly cleaned
Bedding was not even changed and clearly showed someone had used it and staff simply expected us to use as is , they said don’t worry it’s clean. Previous guest didn’t not sleep, they just stayed for a while. Such pathetic response
While charging for room you don’t reduce the amount for room size or shifting but you expect us to adjust to the room even if it’s not as per standards
Then staff when called again he said this was the best we could do.
Really surprising to hear such irresponsible response from hotel staff.
Anyways this experience overall was bad and I don’t think I am interested to come here again
