広くて清潔な部屋
凄くくつろげました。
食事も美味しかったです。

The breakfast and diner were exceptional. The room is super comfy, it is so nice to fall asleep in a warm futon. The staff is very nice and welcoming, they even set the heater on before we get to the room.

料理が美味しく温泉もゆっくり入れました。
スタッフの対応が温かく、近くの観光スポットや傘を貸してくれたり、雪かきをしてくれて車を出しやすくしてくれました。

部屋も広く、お料理、お風呂も良かったです！！
ロケーションも良く、大変居心地良かったです(^^)
しいて言うなら、鍵が掛かれば良いなと思います

A very authentic place that allows you to feel the breath of history. The hosts are very caring and kind. That all made our stay comfortable and very interesting.

Wonderful food and staff.

Our hosts were extremely hospitable. Upon hearing that we were heading to a nearby ryokan, our host offered to drive us over for free (and refused the cash we pulled out of our wallets multiple times). The food was amazing as well!

This Inn is a perfect way to experience the traditional Japanese accommodation experience. The rooms were tatami mat, with a kotatsu (a heated Japanese table) and futon mats on the floor for sleeping. We were served to traditional Japanese meals during our stay. It appeared that the ingredients were all locally sources, the it was wonderfully prepared. The hosts were very kind and were attentive. The area is also a great example of a traditional hot spring in Japan, and if you are into that kind of experience, I would wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

When I made the booking, this site indicated that there was no wifi and that breakfast was only included. However, there was wifi available and dinner was included on top of breakfast. (Making the booking great value). It might be a good idea to check with the host if dinner is included before going if you decide to stay here.

I had expected the place to be a hotel and only realised after arriving that it was a traditional Japanese inn. The hosts were fantastic. Communication was with translation by iPhone but everything was clear. The inn is traditional so be prepared for the futon bed and the shared bathroom and washing facilities. But it's also small so we did not need to queue or wait. We were also provided with traditional dress which we wore to the craft beer bar close by. The hosts were wonderful. Everything from arranging a taxi to advice on what we needed for the hot spring bath in the village. The breakfast and dinner (it's an inn so both are included even though breakfast is mentioned only) were amazing. It was at a level I would expect in an expensive restaurant here but felt like you were in a home and not a hotel. The area is great for hiking and the village is just super nice. Great ice-cream place nearby also. All in all it was the best weekend break I have ever had and I have loads of memories - my advice is to go there and just immerse yourself without expectations. Again the hosts were amazing
