Pros:

It’s a great place to stay

Cons:

The power outages over the course of 2 days made it a unenjoyable for us as it was a little uncomfortable in the resort.

Poor presentation and maintenance.

Advertised bath, bbq, toaster and coffee maker. The room didn’t have these items! There was a toaster but it was coated in oil and started smoking when we switched it on. The air con started to drip on the bed early evening and no one responded to our message to fix this. Carpet was filthy and curtains hanging off the tracks.

Across the road from beach.
Two pools and tennis court!

Cons:

Thinnest crap bath towels and beach towels - for the price you could afford to provide decent towels. one small soap & 1 small lite milk for 2 people for 4 days- given no room service at all you could provide decent amount (just a bit extra than what was provided) of supplies for 2 people for 4 days including milk tissues toilet paper soap shampoos and extra towels - given normally would be replenished daily. Would be good to know up front that balcony faces tennis court. not enough car spaces for 1 car per room meaning parking at the beach - security issue. No DVD player in room- very basic facilities in room.
Indoor pool rust and scum around water edge plus rubbish left in pool area.

When I come to Torquay again, will definitely stay here!
Pros:

The location was great - right across from the beach! I liked the fact that there was an indoor AND outdoor pool, as well as billiard table and mountain bikes available to rent which was great!

Cons:

The breakfast wasn't that great, and tried to have dinner one night at the restaurant downstairs however got told that they were closed (it was only 8pm, and website confirmed kitchen closed at 9) which was disappointing as there aren't many restaurants around/deliver through Uber Eats. Also, didn't like the fact that the room only came with 1 shower towel each (for a 3 day stay, definitely wasn't happy) and you had to pay for more towels.
