Basically this was a motel room with Surry hills pricing.
Pros:

Staff were very polite. Location is good.

Cons:

Plastic shower curtain (that’s like from the 70’s and is gross). Bed was extremely uncomfortable, bedding - linen quality poor, pillows from the 70’s. No kettle, had to request. Tv was ancient. Basically this was a motel room with Surry hills pricing. I would not stay here again.

Pros:

Perfect location for train connections. I've walked further to a plane from drop off than I did from this hotel to my train seat. Trams have good connections for city highlights and local takeaways cater to the Uber-eats crowd so great value in person.

Cons:

Sydney is rougher than it used to be. If you're concerned about walking past a homeless person or two pick a different spot. Pretty large number of people out and about though I felt safe.

It’s very convenient. Close to the central station. Staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The set up of the bathroom. Kind of weird that only a glass sliding door with curtain separated from the main room.

Good hotel in handy location to transport.
Pros:

Great location close to central station. Check in was fast and friendly and the room was pretty quiet. Complimentary coffee and tea in lobby was much appreciated. Good selection of cafes in the area.

Cons:

Our room had a structural column against one side of the bed so only one side had a bedside table which was a bit inconvenient. Everything else was good.
