Rooms look very dated but not a huge issue given the price
Property was in a great location.
1. Room we booked on the website looked absolutely nothing like the room we were given. A smaller room with no natural light and no window. Aircon in the room was also very poor which left the room intolerably warm. When asking staff as regards to this issue we were rudely gaslit by staff that no hotels in Sydney had windows? We were also told we should cancel our reservation but would not get any refund. Staff at the front desk were incredibly unhelpful and adopted a patronising and passive aggressive tone.
2. Staff when cleaning the room managed to throw out a brand new white shirt with the linen. When we realised this as we were packing our bags to leave, staff told us that this was our fault as we told them too late? In my experience it is unusual for hotel staff to throw out customers clothes whilst they stay there so we did not look out for this earlier in the stay ! Staff again were incredibly unhelpful, we told someone in the morning and were told they would raise the issue, later when asking again we were told they didn’t! I then was told I could have a 50 dollar refund for something that was worth 100 dollars and was brand new.
To conclude I never raise negative reviews of hotels and I am aware these are probably minor issues but I have never experienced such poor customer service and thought this should be highlighted to anyone who is thinking of staying here.
Location is great. Breakfast was fine.
More hooks and bars to hang stuff in the bath room. Electrical outlets are at a very awkward places.

Passei 18 dias no hotel, e meu quarto era parcialmente limpo. A camareira é simpática, mas as regras de limpeza alta só quando o hóspede desocupar o quarto. Enfim, até frasco de perfume encontrei embaixo da minha cama.

Perfect location for early morning country train from Central Station.
No kettle in the room, only because they have a fantastic system in the foyer for tea and coffee, that I was too stupid to work out at 5am. My problem, not the hotel’s.
