Lovely, comfortable stay.
Pros:

Excellent hotel in every way. Fantastic location close to all amenities, friendly and attentive service, spotless rooms, and a comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended, and I would definitely stay here again.

Een prachtig hotel met zeer vriendelijk personeel. De kamer was smaakvol ingericht en zeer schoon. Het bed was uitstekend. Omdat wij zeer vroeg onze Camino wilde voortzetten, konden we zonder problemen het ontbijt omzetten naar een take-away ontbijt. Perfect!

Es un hotel muy cómodo, si estás haciendo el Camino de Santiago. Se encuentra en medio de Palas de Rei. Además, el hotel es precioso y las instalaciones están genial.

Reception at check in not present at hotel, had to wait 10 minutes outside of hotel on the sidewalk

The location was great.

Cons:

When I arrived at the hotel, I stood at the entrance but couldn't get in. There was no one in reception, so I had no way to enter the premises and check in. I left a message on Booking.com and the receptionist showed up 10 minutes later. She pointed to the phone number on the glass door and said I should have called the hotel. I only had data on my phone, but not a local phone number. She seemed agitated and inconvenienced. After I checked in, she left the hotel again and I didn't see any hotel staff for the remainder of my stay. I didn't eat breakfast at the hotel because the option wasn't offered to me at check in and I didn't see anyone to ask about it the remainder of the day. Also, there is a glass bottle of water at the bedside table with the hotel logo on it. I thought it was a brand new bottle of water and poured a cup and drank from it. Later, I thought it was unusual for the bottle to be glass instead of plastic and looked under the metal cap. The plastic under the cap was moldy and dirty from the staff refilling the bottle without washing it or providing a new bottle. I would not stay at this property again. Beware!

Great location and fabulous staff
Pros:

Anna the receptionist was such a welcoming staff member to have at the front desk. Check-in was seamless and she helped me find a launderette and massage therapist for my tired Camino legs!
The room was lovely (water was provided), the bed comfy and the shower perfect!
