Good location and good vibe but could definitely do alot better.

Clean and cozy, good location very close to Mandrem beach.
There were alot of power cuts during my stay but not really an issue.

Cons:

The food at the café on the property was disappointingly average, especially considering the prices being charged. What stood out even more was the attitude of the head chef, who came across as rather disinterested and a little rude.

He insisted that payments be made in cash and mentioned a 5% surcharge for UPI or card transactions. Having travelled extensively across India over the past six months — including four trips to Goa — I have never encountered such a charge anywhere else. What made the situation even more puzzling was the inconsistency: only the head chef and one staff member at reception mentioned this supposed surcharge. When I later paid for the booking and a coffee through another employee at the reception, no such charge was applied or even mentioned.

The entire experience felt both confusing and unprofessional, which unfortunately took away from what could have otherwise been a pleasant visit.

Pros:

Todo!! La tranquilidad del hotel, su gente, los empleadors siempre intentado ayudar y la habitación maravillosa. Equipada con todo lo necesario (AC, wc, Big Bed, TV). Jardin y Piscina idel para relaxar-se.

Cons:

Lo único es q está a segunda Linea de mar, por raó su precio económico pero pot un short CUt llegas a la calle principal en 3 min.

Pros:

Все замечательно, прекрасный отель, персонал всегда идет на встречу, готовят вкусно. Не возле дороги, поэтому достаточно тихо. До моря пешком, удобное расположение, посередине верхнего и нижнего Мандрема.

Best value in Mandrem
Pros:

Quiet location at a nice property. The rooms are well kept and clean. Comfortable soft mattress and dual pillows.. Hot water was hot and abundant most of the time, but there were occasions it didn't work. No complaints about the AC. No mosquito problems. SmartTV worked. WiFi is not excellent, but good for the Arambol area. Good value food at the restaurant, delivered to the door. Staff was conscientious and quickly resolved issues that arose.

Cons:

Incessant about getting payment upfront to the point of forcing you to go to the ATM lest you carry enough cash. Very low trust.

i stayed here for 17n and i liked it a lot: it's away from the noisy road, in the middle of fields with nature sounds :) goats etc.
from the back side of the hotel there is a shortcut to the beach, shops and market which i used often. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Reception, housekeeping, Adobo chef and the manager himself. I had some issues with the water supply in the bathroom, after addressing it he took care of it right away. I was very happy with my room on the ground floor. It's spacious, clean and everything you need is there. Water kettle, tv, fridge and closet. I had enough room to do yoga in the room as well. 😀 bottled water is provided as well. I felt safe here.
I highly recommend The North39.
