Maybe the friendliest hotel in Ireland. And that’s a very high bar
The hot water in our first room wasn’t working. But that was dealt with immediately by an upgrade

On arrival young woman on reception was very friendly and pleasant checked us in without issue 😀. Lovely clean room comfortable Bed. Breakfast was nice and lots of it. All staff very attentive and professional 👏

The staff were excellent and very polite and accommodating, the room was basic and very clean. I liked the wooden floors in the bedrooms and the fact that the ensuit is a wetroom. The food was excellent also.

Pristine cleanliness. Staff were wonderful. Warm room. Breakfast was 10/10. Nice bar, friendly staff and patrons.
No hot water in room both nights. Corridor lights did not work first night but were corrected. Finding your room in the dark is not fun.
We stayed at Sweeney’s Hotel to celebrate my sister’s retirement and had a wonderful experience. The staff were fantastic and very kindly upgraded us to the suites, which was a lovely surprise. We dined in the hotel restaurant, where the food was delicious, and enjoyed a great night’s sleep — the beds were so comfortable. The hotel is an excellent base from which to explore the stunning west Donegal coastline.
What I didn't like about my stay was that I had to leave to go home! I couldn't fault the place!

Location was perfect. The hotel is beautiful in every way. Staff were excellent, Breakfast was delicious. One of the best places I’ve stayed in so far in Dungloe.

The breakfast was fabulous great choice of food
Unfortunately we arrived during a local festival so others was busy. This did not take away from the staff, they were so nice
Because of the festival there was a live band playing drums amd whistles in the courtyard until after 12.15 at night. We had been told that it would be noisier than usual but this was an impromptu gatherine and very loud.
The breakfast was delicious with a wide range to choose from. The staff were very friendly and our room was off an excellent standard. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family
The view overlooking the balcony was a bit messy down below with overgrown bushes etc. Other than that the balcony was beautiful with far of views amazing
