The bed was clean and very comfortable. The location was great, you can walk to Chengdu's commercial area and a subway station is very close by. The staff was very nice and even though they didn't speak english, they did everything to communicate with us. We were also given 2 bottles of water every day.
We were initially given a non-smoking room that smelled like cigarettes. Thankfully, we could change rooms, although there was still residual cigarette smell. The first room was small, the washing machine smelled badly and it had a small walk in closet.
The second room was more spacious and with nice views, but it was filthy. Despite being cleaned every day, the floor was sticky, and when rubbing a tissue on the floor it came up full of dirt (see picture). The desk had a mat that was peeling and the chair had stains. The bathroom had no door although both the toilet and the shower had a stall door. The floor of the shower was broken and the curtain inside had mold. The faucet was also broken and it either splashed too much or the water went behind the sink. We were thankful that the towels were changed every day because there was not a single surface where they could dry that wasn't dirty. The toilet clogged once but they fixed it fast. The fridge for some reason was at freezing temperature, not enough to freeze things if left overnight but it froze the sodas that came with the room.
The entrance to the building is busy because there are several businesses on the building and there are sofas were people lay down all day. The premises, including the elevators and the hotel hallways were dirty and smelly, and we saw a bug once.
The pictures the accomodation provides don't make it justice and we think the stay was expensive considering the state of the hotel.

The rate of the property changed when I was going to pay at the counter. It became much higher than the price I booked. I’ve used booking.com for my entire hotel stay booking and this is the ONLY hotel that the price changed. I don’t think it’s fair

The hotel occupies 1 floor of a 20 plus storey building and there are no signs to locate the hotel .
TV wasn’t working . Toilet flush kept getting blocked and I wasn’t told until the last day the reason for it
I had a nice view even that the windows were very dirty. They cleaned the room every day. It’s just one floor in a bigger building, many restaurants and shopping centers around.
The reception could talk at least a few words English. The rest was fine
