Location, price, size of room was great. Very close to waterfront and central tourist area. Appreciated the additional security after 10p and the friendliness of the staff as well as their willingness to accomodate my changing itinerary.
The mattress, while clean and a good size, was quite hard. Shower water pressure was low - just barely in my tolerance but it was there.
Ubicación, esta céntrico.
Poca privacidad, se escucha las voces y ruidos de los otros huéspedes.
It is conveniently close to the beach, placita, Loreto Mission, restaurants & souvenir shops. (Block away)
Maria who checked me in cleaned my room daily. Very nice lady. Room smelled nice after being cleaned. 2 Fresh towels daily.
A small packet shampoo & conditioner is offered.
Lots of storage & closet space for your personal items
AC in the room was great & much needed. Climate was hot (mid to high 80’s)
Coffee pot was accessible in the room.
A television with sufficient channel is accessible.
I was able to charge my iPhone in my room.
You can hear music coming from the placita area but it wasn’t intrusive. You can sleep through it.
I couldn’t hear if other people were staying at this hotel; my room was #4, a quiet corner room.
If you’re on a budget like I was, unfamiliar with the town & you’re there to discover the town like me, then this isn’t a bad place to stay. It’s a good starting point.
Unfortunately, you can hear cars rushing through the street late at night/early morning hours.
I wished a continental breakfast was offered at this facility.
Bathroom shower floor could be spruced up. Use water shoes when showering.
No hairdryer accessibility.
Be prepared for all the mosquitos! They are every where. Bug spray didn’t help me. Have anti-itch cream ready.
Unfortunately, the bedroom mattresses was not comfortable. The hotel needs to replace these old lop sided stiff mattresses.
The door & door frame was not completely sealed together.
A lizard-looking creature was in my room.
There is a small patio area with a lounge chair but it is not private. A RV area is behind the patio area.
La ubicación
La amabilidad del personal
El espacio de la regadera estaba sucio y un foco fundido del balcón
Se habían robado el control remoto de la tv el cliente anterior
Nett hergerichtet, sicher
Kaltes Wasser , kein Tisch
PESIMO
The location is fantastic; a half block from the Malecon and a block from the Mission Plaza. Lots of great walking, dining, shopping, and the mission, which is fascinating. Great location to explore Loreto on foot. The hotel is old school Baja funky and charming. The check-in was quick and easy. The bed is comfortable and once the wifi got straightened out, plenty fast.
The toilet seat was broken. The wifi was non-existent when I first got there. I talked to the staff and they adjusted the antennas, bingo, good wifi, 5+ mbps. The sliding glass door frame could use a couple of screws to secure it to the wall. Right next door (other side of the wall of my room), OHVs with super loud exhaust started up at 5 in morning before taking off. This has happened both times I stayed here.
Location is excellent, one block off the Malecon and one block from the Mission plaza. There's secured (at night) off-street parking. Room was as clean as expected and, because of the location, exploring town and dining options are fantastic.
The room is a little rough, but pretty much the standard for this price range in Baja. There's a lot of road noise, especially in the early morning hours (5-7 AM) when all the off-roaders take off in their side-by-sides. That's not an issue with the hotel but with Loreto and much of the gringo areas of Baja. Lots of loud, modified OHVs.
Secure, great location.; steps from the plaza
